All of the so called gospels were written over a hundred years AFTER the death of Jesus of Nazareth, well after everyone that could refute the lies had died off...

No because first of all it wasn't written by Judas. Some gnostic wrote it later on and put Judas' name on it in order to try and give it some legitimacy. Secondly, any writings that contradict what the Bible has to say are by definition false since the Bible is God's word and God doesn't lie.

Now if this so called "gospel" account had additional stories about Jesus that covered incidents that the Bible failed to mention AND they didn't contradict what the Bible says, then I would say that they might be true. But the fact is that many people wrote fanciful tales after Jesus left this earth for reasons only they and God know.

Some "gospel" accounts were written by well meaning people but they were rejected because they lacked divine inspiration and they were not wholly truthful. They contained accounts of Jesus coming up to the temple and birds swirling around and flying in worshipful formation and things like that.

Yes the book is authentic...so far as accuracy goes it's like all the other gospels...FAIRY TALES. Should be read as such and not relied upon to build a belief system. PEACE!
