They're not open to our way of thinking so just let them be already. They will never have the capacity to believe in things they can't see or explain and will just anger us. Talking to these people is meaningless and a waste of time. Spend time focusing on more important things like watching paint dry.

Are they so naive as to think that is the way to heaven or to convert non-believers?
Is it THAT hard to live life with compassion, patience, humility and a sense of justice? Dost thou NEED to condemn and judge others to be christian? Is the need to feel superior over others taught in churches?
Many answers from alledged christians I see on here, but rarely doth they give sound advice or consort, instead, they condemn, judge and make known their thought that they are better than others.
I have met more non-believers that practice good than nearly all those that claim to have found Christ, here or anywhere else.
I be not a christian, but if I doth come across a bad or corrupted person, I treat them with compassion and understanding, as from my experience, this has been always successful in fettering their attitudes. Why do I not see christians doing this same 'christian' duty? Can they TRULY be as unenlightened as their facades seem to portray?

the scriptures promised one to come and die and rise-Psalm 16 says "i will not suffer my anointed one (Messiah) to see corruption." and about "You will show me the path of life, in your presence is fullness of joy (simcha), at your right hand are pleasures forever more."

How was your personal relationship with God. You know, the fellowship you had with Him when you weren’t in church, a Christian school, or just doing what your parents told you to do. But when it was just you alone with God. Did you love Him? If so why? Isn’t real love unconditional? Did you pray to Him and meditate on His Word? Did you ever hear the Holy Spirit speak within you?

I ask this because I’m a Christian and I can’t even fathom the idea of turning away from the Truth. Therefore, I just wanted a little insight on those who did. Did you really have a personal relationship with God??

Sound off : one of our duties here on earth is to spread the word. But I have a friend who is an atheist, and try as I might, she wont listen or even consider my thoughts. Does this sadden god? like, I'm not giving up, but will he be somewhat dissapointed that I cant get her to move?

i am confused greatly about the whole god thing,but what i do know is people say,he is the way and the life,he is forgiving,blah blah blah,then why are there people that say,are you ready for him?i find that kind of threatning,or people say,stop sinning or you will go to hell,whats with the scare tactics,this just makes me more confused and i dont think anyone even knows what to believe,other than what was grounded in our heads as children,and please no "if you dont stand for something you will fall for anything"...how can i fall if im not standing?or just beleive,thats what a cult leader says,scripture just makes me think you are crazy,anyone else get me,or am i just talking out of my azz?if im talking out of my azz thats ok too right?

There is a reference in the Bible for when someone gives you a "word" they say is coming from God that you are supposed to get confirmation from 2 other people, so you know it is definitely a word from God. Does anyone know where that can be found? Thanks so much for your help.

I believe that going by what you see in a particular religion, not just it's teachings alone testifies to whether it's the true religion or not. A prophecy from Jesus harmonizes with this statement.

"Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. When we are little one of the first words we learn and totally use and understand is "MINE!" we are greedy and unwilling to share when we are young. Now, we dont have our parents constantly saying "yeah, its okay to not share. Dont let them have that toy that's yours!" Now, where do we learn to be so posessive and self centered? we dont, it comes natural. This my friends, is proof of the fall.
