what I would do is examine my own heart and make sure really sure that I have it completely right with God. Then ask Him to use me as His instrument to lead this person to Him. To give me the wisdom and words that this person might be saved. If it's not His will to use me in this manner, then I would ask that He lead the right person to do the job.
Pray that He might hear and be sure to listen with your heart for the answer you seek.
God bless you

Of course not. It is your job to spread the word not to "make" them believe. There is no convincing...it is a heart change and choice on their part. Just be a good loving, kind, non-judgemental friend and they will see your heart and that will be persuasive to them. God will work on the rest. Let God be God in this persons life. It may be next monthe or 55 years from now but as long as you are a real christian/person and you are praying for them and helping them...that is all you can do. Don't stress about it.

Only God can soften or harden a heart. Go into serious prayer for her. Ask GOd to show her miracle signs and wonders. Also, be an example. As we know Christians are not perfect, but don't let her see you do anything contrary to what you are telling her. We are epistoles being read daily. I agree with you in prayer that God will change her heart, that He will reveal the truth to her and that the light of Jesus will drive out all darkness. I plead the blood of Jesus against unbeliefright now! Amen. Be blessed, and don't give up.

Of course it saddens God that one of His own children doesn't even believe that He exists. Is He disappointed in you? No way, you are doing as you are asked to do and that is spread the Word. After you spread the Word to someone it is then up to them to do the rest. She is the one dropping the ball so to speak not you. You hang in there kid and believe in the miracles of the Lord(who knows, she might get a revelation). At this point just pray for your friend. There is power in prayer.

No,God is not dissapointed at you. You did your part in the great commission. What saddens god is that while your giving your friend the truth, she decides not to listen. Its your friends choice to accept god or not. Jesus never pushed himself on anyone. Its all up to your friend.Hopeful your friend sees the light before its too late

Looks like you've already done your duty here. Remember that free-agency is very important to God too. For now, she's already made her decision, and the best thing you can do to share the gospel at this point is just to be a good friend, and good example.
Best wishes!

First off...Cut the "Devoted Christians Only" stuff...This is an OPEN FORUM and if you want a Christian Only audience to respond than go to a Christian site to post.
It's nice to have a direction in life and trying to convert others to your belief system isn't a good one. I suggest that you and your Atheist friend volunteer and help others that are needier than you both may/might be. Get your satisfaciton from truly helping others rather than deriving it from the "conversion" of others to your belief system. PEACE!

Chances are, the more you try to convert her, the more she will ignore it. Just try to be a good friend and pray for God to open her eyes. Eventually she will want to know why you care for her so much and will actually listen to what you have to say. God Bless!

no.God knows that you are trying, and God also knew that your friend would put up a fight against what you are trying to show her. However, maybe you should pray and ask God to soffen up your friends heart.Besides, sharing God doesnt go to waist,God has a plan, whoever we share the gospel with, that person will most likely think about it for a wile. Also, someone else might come around the corner and share the gospel with your friend.God is in charge.

People like you give Christians a bad name. The concept of Christianity includes God being all powerful. If he wanted your friend to be a Christian, she would be one. Don't push it, you may be working against God's will. God is also omniscient, and thus cannot be "saddened". Please don't attempt to convert people when you don't even understand your own religion.

I don't think it necessarily saddens God. If He wants you to bring her to Him, then eventually you will do it, if you pray on it. He may take her from your life and hand her over to another person, and maybe another. We are here to spread the word, but we will not necessarily be the person who brings someone to God from start to finish.
