Going to confession will not get you salvation. You obviously have it all wrong. You aren't disobeying the Pope, you are disobeying God.

Who the hell is the pope to tell you what to do. Read your bible and do what it says. If you disobey something God has told you in the bible then confess your sins to God, not any mortal man who thinks he is superior to you. The pope is a man just like you and me. Nothing special!!!!

The pope doesn't go to confession every time he disobeys me, so you don't have to go when you disobey him.

You don't need a go-between. You can talk directly to God and confess to him when you sin. The Pope is not above Jesus or God. Through prayer you will learn what the right direction is for you. You can learn directly through the Holy Spirit.

The Pope is not a god. He is a sinful natured human being just like the rest of us. You must confess your sins to God, however, immediately. However, if you plan on continuing to commit the same sin----don't bother. God will not even hear your prayer.

the pope is the symbolic and factual head of the catholic church -
one of many churches and denominations -
also one of many proclaiming to know the only way to God -
fact is that God gave us his book which describes exactly the way to him -
the way to God is - and is only - through Jesus, the saviour.
God doesn't want or need any worldly - and therefore sinful - institution or middle man to communicate with im.
To talk to God you pray with a sincere and faithful heart - through his son Jesus - and if you sin - as we all do - you confess your sins to the Lord directly, in prayer, with remorse and genuine heartfelt regret, and he will help you to avoid the same sins
and God will love you even when you sin, becuase once you accept Jesus as your saviour and let God in your heart, you are saved through God's grace and love...
so don't worry, not confessing sins to a worldly middle man is no problem, your space in heaven is assured ... God loves you
