My favorite is "The Spiral Dance" by Starhawk. It was written before modern "fad" magic was introduced by television and movies. It presents the wiccan tradition in a pure and sophisticated way.

My favorite novel that involves paganism/wiccan tradition is "The Mists of Avalon," by Marion Zimmer Bradley. I love the prequels and sequels as well, but "Mists" is my all time favorite.

I love Everyday Magick by Dorothy Morrison. Concise and a working in it for almost any occasion. A witches Bible by Janet and Stewart Farrar is great for reference, but perhaps a bit long-winded for the newbie.

Plato was my favorite pagan author.

On a side note: I've read the Bible. I suggest you report yourself for being the first to mention it and for making threats.
