I'm more of an at home witch, and also, I'd have much more trust in something that I whipped up myself for my purposes than something bought that may just be canola oil or something.
Please give me recipes for the more commonly used oils.

Some atheists are always complaining that Christians are so hypocritical; therefore, I was just wondering if there are hypocritical atheists. You know those who may say there is no God, but pray or call on His name when trouble comes, etc. Are there any hypocritical atheists messing up the reputation of the true ones? Are all who proclaim to be an atheist atheist? If an atheist converts to Christianity, where they really an atheist to begin with?

Why did this "almighty" being give people the ability to speak if those who claim to have all the answers in His name routinely dismiss and often try to silence those who hold different beliefs?

Here are few bible verses to meditate on that will help those of you who are truly interested in knowing what the bible says about masturbation. The word masturbation is not in the bible, yet, the bible teaches us principles that will help you to reason on the matter.
"For this is what God wills, the sanctifying of you , that you abstain from fornication; that each one of you should know how to get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in covetous sexual appetite such as also those nations have which do not know God;" 1THESSALONIANS 4:3-5
Is masturbation really helping you to learn to control your sexual desires or to give in to them?
"Deaden, therefore, your body members that are upon the earth as respects fornication, uncleanness, sexual appetite, hurtful desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry."
COLOSSIANS 3:5
Are you deadening your sexual desires during masturbation, or are you exciting them? For more info go to www.watchtower.org

If we are born with original sin, and we die as babies, we go to hell? Is that the type of guy you want judging you when you die? Is that a guy you want to worship? If I got this wrong, let me know, because god sounds like a baby burning punk.

The other day I asked atheists on this forum whether God could exist. The general consensus was a "no". Yet when someone asks atheists to prove God doesn't exist, atheists claim you can't prove a negative. But if a person is completely sure God couldn't possibly exist, then he must also be sure God doesn't exist. If a person is even reasonably sure God couldn't possibly exist, then he must be at least reasonably sure God doesn't exist.

Therefore, when someone asks an atheist to show that God doesn't exist, that's the same as saying "Give me your reasons why you think God couldn't possibly exist."

So why do atheists give inconsistent answers based on the way the question is worded? Are atheists inherently irrational? Are they intellectually dishonest? Are they brainwashed and they don't know how to respond if a question doesn't match the list of talking points they downloaded from an atheist website? What's the deal?

scientists came from the sky and told the world that it was all an experiment and proved it. That would mean that there is no God, nor any real science that created this earth, just scientists who created us from another place. They wrote the Bible, the Koran, and all the Holy lessons from all religions to see how it would fit into our society. How would you react?

Here's your chance to ask...what is it about about Jehovah's witnesses that you get a kick out of bashing us?

Yes, we can drink alcohol. We just don't get overdrink like the rest of the world.
Yes, we can dance. Who doesn't?
No, we can't have sexual relations outside of the marital arrangement...no one should.
Yes, we believe God is going to bring an end to this wicked system of things...Read your Bible and you will see it says that.

Yes we believe God has a name, and it is not "Lord"...that is a title. How would you like it if your best friend came up to you and said "Hey boy" or "Hey female"...Everyone has a name, so does God and it is Jehovah, and he wants us to use it.

Any other questions or anyting you would like me to clarify?

This question is obviously not for the bible thumpers, but for those of us with open minds. I know what the fundamentalists are going to say, so say it, get your two points, and leave the rest of us alone.

I do believe that God created man in his own image, but what was that image? Christians choose to believe it is the image of modern man, but there is so much scientific evidence that not all ancient men looked like us.

Can you believe that it's possible that God created a "creature" he called man, and that it evolved into modern man? This is what I believe. Man tells us what God looks like, and he judges that from his own image, because it is the only point of reference he has.

Can you believe that some people are descendants of Adam and Eve, and some evolved from lower life forms? I personally believe in both creation and evolution, but there is more evidence of evolution.

Anyway surely if it was so hot down there he wouldnt be red but like pitch black from the soot and tanning. Does he ever get bored and watch Duck Tales?

Faith n. Belief without evidence in what is told by one who speaks without knowledge, of things without parallel.

Given that definition (you can easily trace the source if you want to :) ) - how can theists be proud of their "faith".

Willys cynical thought for the day;

When you're rich, it's "eccentric;" when you're poor, it's just freaking weird!

A priest was driving along and saw a nun on the side of the road he stopped and offered her a lift which she accepted. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing the habit to open and reveal a leg.

The priest looks and nearly has an accident, and after changing gear lets his hand slide up her leg. She immediately says "Father remember psalm 129."

The priest apologizes profusely and removes his hand but is unable to remove his eyes from her leg.

Further on when he changes gear and has oggled at her leg for the zillionth time he lets the hand slide up the leg again. The Nun once again says "Father remember psalm 129."

Once again the priest apologizes "Sorry sister but you know the flesh is weak."

Arriving at the convent the nun gets out and the priest goes on his way.

Once he arrives at his church he rushes to the bible and looks up psalm 129 it said: "GO FORTH AND SEEK, FURTHER UP YOU WILL FIND GLORY."
