If we are born with original sin, and we die as babies, we go to hell? Is that the type of guy you want judging you when you die? Is that a guy you want to worship? If I got this wrong, let me know, because god sounds like a baby burning punk.

instead, if all babies that die go to heaven... Christians would be much more loving by killing all the babies, thus insuring their eternity in heaven. If babies are left to grow up and reject God, why not kill them and send them straight to heaven. That would save everyone the missions and evangelism expense.

When you study the whole counsel of God (the Bible) it is very clear that the Lord God would never condemn a baby to hell. We are all born with the sin nature; however, when Jesus died on the cross, He made provision for babies and children who die before they reach an age of accountabilty.

God does not burn babies. At least, my God doesn't. All we really know about the orginal sin stuff is what we've learned in church. I was taught the purgatory line. Going with that, purgatory isn't permanent--you're only there until you're okay to move on to heaven. So, the poor little babies still have just as much of a chance for redemption as the rest of us. Of course, only God know for sure.

There is no where in the new testament that says babies go to hell. There is an age on accountability which depending on your particular denominational practices is when a person becomes old enough to understand the difference between salvation and what to do to be saved.

When I think about the idea it is horrifying. However, when confronted by na almost inhuman degree of ignorance, hate and a mind so warped as this questioner I have to wonder if some extreme measure may not be necessary to clean-up the human genome. Could this person be one of those 'missing links?'

You are talking about Calvinism, an anti-christ form of Christianity which gave way to Puritans at a later date. These do not represent pure Christianity.

Babies go to limbo, as it's not their fault their parents didn't baptize them.

But it is rather unfair. You know there are guys in hell, still on the hook for the "fish on Friday" sin.

Babies don't go to Hell. They return to the Lord.
