scientists came from the sky and told the world that it was all an experiment and proved it. That would mean that there is no God, nor any real science that created this earth, just scientists who created us from another place. They wrote the Bible, the Koran, and all the Holy lessons from all religions to see how it would fit into our society. How would you react?

This requires philosophical thinking, not just the shrug off. Really, are you that narrow minded? You're not going to hell for actually thinking about the question.

I would love to see the looks on all of those Jesus freaks' faces when they know that there is no hell waiting for us. Can you imagine the closet case drunks and deviants coming out of the woodwork? I can't imagine having to struggle all of our lives and fight for survival and at the end be thrown into a fiery pit for all of eternity. Seems a bit harsh doesn't it? And I don't want any replies from hard line Christians regarding my answer. I won't read them anyway. They'll go straight into my own fiery pit unread.

Scientists first have to fully understand this amazing universe. Presently they have not compelete knowledge of our own galaxy how do you think they can reach to such stupid conculsion. There are galaxies which are millions of light miles away and scientists are unable to break the time and speed barrier. I don't see how human is going to fully understand this amazing universe in future.

you mean scientists, as in ancient astronaughts?
i've read some of von danikan's books.
the whole idea doesn't seem outlandish to me.
it is ethnocentric to think that we are all there is.
but to me that wouldn't kill the idea of a first cause(god).
you would still have evidence for intelligent design, from the distant reaches of the universe right down to our bodies and minds; and the fact that we, ourselves, try to create intelligences such as robots and the computers that run them.

They would still have to explain how they came to be and then do you really think people would believe it?
