Talking all day long to someone who never answers you back (unless you are schizophrenic) must feel pretty empty. You spend all that wasted time hoping god will answer you. Then something happens that barely matches up to what you prayed for, so you jump all over it as proof that god is real and doing what you asked for. That would be called coincidence, by the way.

So since you go through this empty existence hoping that some imaginary sky fairy will pay attention to you, you can make yourself feel better by believing that 'at least I'm better than those atheists'. Does it warm your heart knowing that you 'know the truth' and all of those people who don't think like you are stupid? Do you think god will reward you and make you feel special? Do you get enjoyment out of seeing people who don't believe say things like this, because they are going to hell and you aren't?

So what happens if you die and you find out your were wrong all along?

I just found this section today. While I was looking through it I noticed that there are tons of “questions” about Christians. Very very few of them are legitimate questions (like this one you may say). Many of the questions are just glorified complaining.

So my question(s). Because I don’t worry myself with non-believers to the point that they aggravate me and call them all kinds of foul things on a question board, why do they?

I try like everything to be non-judgmental, polite, and helpful. Heck, I attend classes that help me with those things. Why does that type of behavior elicit such a horrible response from unlike-minded people?

I've got this idea. Buy a little burger joint and put a big picture of jesus christ eating a double cheesburger on the side of the building. Have a black and white hand clasping together and call the place "The Jesus Saves Racial Harmony Grill" What do u think of this idea?

How come people, and I'm not just talking athletes here, seem to think that God or Jesus or Allah, or whoever your supreme being is made all good things in your life come true? Why don't people give themselves a little more credit for the good things they do? And conversely, do you blame God when something goes wrong, or is that when it is your fault? I get confused about this one, a little help would be nice.

People are so willing to believe that God is violent. He is not. Just as we have the right to protect our own, doesn't God also have that right? We are His children and He protects us and keeps us safe(fot those who believe) Just as parents protect their children. Can they read a book and then explain what the book is all about? Can they read the Bible and do the same? They seem to deconstruct the Bible into something that has nothing to do with what it actually says, before they can even tell you what it actually says. Come on people at least be fair before you go off into zooland,,,,

Why hasent anyone ever asked themself why god says in deuteronomy 22;28 if you rape a woman -and are caught you must pay a fine to the womans father then marry her as punishment.and in 24 and 25 it says you can leave your wife for any reason also if your husband is fighting a man and your wife tries to stop it by grabbing the mans balls you should chop of her hand for punishment. in judges 19;23 the owner of the house says not to rape his friends because there protcted by god .instead rape my virgin daughter and her friend. or in deut 21;10 in a war if one of your captives is beautiful and you are actracted to her you can take her home to be one of your wives...after you all read those

We know that the stars are not set in anything, and they are rather more than just light-givers (particularly as most cannot even been seen from earth).

The most important thing is to life life each day according to the teachings of the Bible. The future is going to happen. Christ came, he left and he is coming back, beyond that people seem to build these straw houses of end times with minute details that are flimsy at best and corrupt at most.

Why the question:

As preachers of the gospel of Jesus, we came across many people who admitted this to us...that when they masturbate they feel like something or someone is literally having sex with them.They say, it is different from mere sexual imaginations of masturbation...most say when they began to practice masturbation, this did not happen.

Some admitted to have seen such people or creatures sleeping with them.
Some admitted to even know the time of the night these invisible creatures come to them.They can't control anymore when they want to masturbate...it's like that invisible thing now controls them.

Some of them beg us to pray for them...I should not expect that an atheist would beg me, a preacher of the Jesus Christ, to pray for him unless indeed something is really bothering him...since they don't believe in God!

I just want to find out how many out suffer from something similar to this.

It struck my attention that people who are very keen on giving answers to every question (points around at least 1000) are religious fanatics/radicals; Christian and Muslim. No matter how diverse the question is, they somehow twist and shape the subject and give an answer that exalts their religion. Are they trying for conversion?
