I think the're not paying attention to their own scriptures:

4:136 O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His Apostle, and the scripture which He hath sent to His Apostle and the scripture which He sent to those before (him). Any who denieth Allah, His angels, His Books, His Apostles, and the Day of Judgment, hath gone far, far astray.

KEY REFERENCE!!! "Believe the Scripture which He sent to those before." THAT means the Bible! Yet the Bible and the Quran contradict each other on key points. Therefore, how can they have the same Author? And if they don't have the same Author, which is which? Qu'ran says it agrees, but it doesn't. Therefore it MUST be authored by a LIAR. Scripture identifies the liar as Shaitan. Therefore, the Qu'ran is authored by Satan. COME AWAY FROM HER, MY PEOPLE!

I'm getting married to a Muslim next year - what is there to think?

He's family and friends are people and are not necessarily defined by thier religion - what is your point exactly?

I find them warm, generous but dedicated people - religion does not even come into it for me!

They are the same as you and me with their own belief system. And anyone who says that their women are slaves really need to read quran or talk to some muslims. I know plenty of them and they are wonderful people.

i know a lot of Muslems , and i think they are very kind and goodhearted. Family means everything to them, they are very friendly, personal hygiene is the best and they are polite.
I do believe that God loves them a lot. I also think that God will have more mercy on them than on the so "selfproclaimed atheists" of the world.
I am South African - just happen to know muslems.

People are individuals. I don't think about people as a class. I look at each individual. Otherwise one is prone to prejudice. Alternatively, there are classes of people I do prejudge, for example gang members and terrorists.

women in islam have no place in heaven either, only men go to paradise

if a woman is rude, the husband doesnt need to take her to court for divorce, all he has to do is lift his right hand and say " i divorce you" 5 times, and kick her out the front door. its all legal
