Let me say first, I'm looking for answers from Muslims . Please, all the bigots need not post nasty comments. I'm very Muslim-friendly and have a sincere question about Islam, thanx.

Okay, here's what I don't understand. From my understanding, Islam says that when people become a Muslim, they "revert" back to Islam because they were born Muslim. How can a baby be a Muslim when s/he has no idea what's going on? What does it mean to be born a Muslim? Babies don't know anything about Islam, just as they don't know about Christianity. Catholics baptize their babies, but the babies don't know what they're doing. They also believe in Original Sin, that all babies are born with a sin on their souls. Ridiculous, yes, no baby sins. Either way, whether bad or good, both Original Sin and being born Muslim don't make sense to me if a baby knows nothing.

Can anyone please explain?

Evolution is based on science ( while religion is based on books written by some kook) If u dont believe in evolution, you dont believe in science. If it was not for science, a significant amount of items that u own and serve you wouldnt be in creation. So next time u buy ur medicine, think this product is a result of science, not some guy up in space who zapped a prescription for you.

My best friend or at least we concider ourselfs to be best friends... was married in April well she married a guy that she had only know for about 6 or 8 months seriously. She in my mind did not love him, but did it because they have the same religion. They are Johovah's Witnesses. I have nothing against this at all! We really did not talk as much because her job made her travel all the time so when we did talk we talked for hours and hours. Well she got married and I was not allowed to be in her wedding. I am assuming because of her religion, but I was never told point blank that it was the religion. She did not include me in anything in her wedding not even tieing a bow on her favors.
Now I am getting married in 2 weeks. She is not in my wedding but at the same time someone told me she would not be able to be in my wedding because it is going to be held in a church. She is not in it, but I did give her a choice to be in it.

Please respond....Where did the original matter (the building blocks of life) come from? To say "it was always there" is not a satisfactory answer.That your theory cannot answer that, in my mind, kills it right there. But wait, there's more!When you look at the way our bodies work, that we are just the right distance from the sun not to freeze or burn up, that we have food provided all around us, that water nourishes life, that we have a thin protective layer around the earth that sustains our life, that we have a heart and spirit, and can reason, speak and have profound relationships - doesn't that speak to a wonderful, loving, creative designer? There are many lies floating around about Islam and Muslims. This is because ignorant and racist people & media want to label all Muslims as being the same as the terrorists. They even invent lies about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), The Kaba and God Himself, saying Allaah is a moon god?!?!? And somehow these people claim to know more about Islam than Muslims?? In fact, they are the most ignorant of all humanity!!

Are you able to see past all of the lies and propaganda against Muslims who have nothing to do with terrorism and want peace like everyone else? Or have you been brainwashed. Negative answers will be from the brainwashed. Thanks in advance to the truly open minded and open hearted.

I know it sounds messed up, but it is the truth. The first few times I was aware of this happening, I convinced myself that it was just a vivid dream. but to many things have happened. this has been going on for over a year. What can I do to protect myself from her? I do not want to harm her, that is not my way.
