Yes. I would rather suffer here and prosper in the afterlife than to prosper here and to suffer for eternity.

To give up all I have just to secure a place in the afterlife seems kind of self serving. If you give what you have thinking that material things are never more important than people that is a good thing and you will grow and learn from it. If you give up those things only for the security of a better afterlife then the act is hollow. Spread love and light up the world.

No. I hope that my after life is as bountiful as my waking life. No amount of money or even less suffering could make any life any sweeter than mine seems to be. The only thing that could improve it would be if all the angry, violent people in this world would stop what they are doing. I, alone, do not have the power to stop it and for me, that would make this truly, heaven on earth.

No.
I do believe in afterlife but as of now my present is The Most important to me.
Live a valuable life today and all the happiness will be yours forever. There is nothing like trading.
You are worth living your present.

take care.

i prefer to be richly rewarded in the afterlife, God willing.

However, I also believe God grants you what ever you pray for. A simple prayer in Islam is: Dear God, give me what is best in this world and best in the next world and save me from hellfire. Ameen!

Why waste this life, that you have now, for a possible (but improbable) afterlife of which there is no proof?

You have this life now, use it, live it to the fullest, that's what it's for!

sure, material stuff is nice, but I would be happy getting back to nature and living without alot of regular modern stuff (not like an amish person though) definately in skimpy cut-offs looking for lumber jacks.....lol
