Sorry, but this has been irritating me since I started using Yahoo! Answers.

It seems like everyone on Y!A uses 'agnostic' and 'atheistic' as synonyms, but they are not. I would just like it if everyone was on the right page.

Being agnostic means that you think the existance of a god is unprovable, being an Atheist means that you think that the existance of a god is naught. Therefore, agnostics can very well still believe in a god. Therefore, people should stop making questions addressed to both Atheists and agnostics.

I’m sorry if I offended some of you with the dinosaur question; it was not intended for people of faith that actually have common sense. But the rest of you; come on lets get real! If scientists are so wrong, then why do so many science inventions work? You can believe any thing that you want, but I’m sorry to say that belief is not always fact. I just had sex in 80 degree weather, and I'm 80 years old.
I just fell asleep, but now I see Jesus at the end of a tunnel (naked, except for a fedora) yelling for me to follow him.

I was wondering about all religions, except atheist (that is a religion), concept about conducting your life on earth. Is it part of your everyday life and practice or is it something you do one particular week, month, year. If it is part of your daily life tell us why? Most of us take religion as a 'service' for us or to make us 'feel good.' I think it is more than that. It should better us as individuals and bring the best in us for the betterment of next life, and ultimately to please God. This is time to share your religion without the insults. If you have quotes from the religous books please give them.

atheists don't believe in god. Why do they find it so horrible and unbelievable? I for one can't understand how can CAN believe in god but I respect your choice. You believe and I don't. Anyways, I don't care if you want to choose to believe in god but why can't I be left alone about my choice? Remember all people all you can is speak for youreself. No christian can speak for all christains, just like no atheist can speak for all athiests. And remeber I say most, I do not say all.

I would like to know exactly what retarded school you people went to that taught that dinosaurs lived along side people. The bible says all kinds of crazy things. Do you think that maybe people happened to find the bones of dinosaurs while they were digging for lime stone and marble for their stupid temples, and just made up crap about the bones, fairy tale stories that happened to get into the bible? I think people need to be less worried about their faith and more worried about their education so they can get a good job and put food on the table.
