I’m sorry if I offended some of you with the dinosaur question; it was not intended for people of faith that actually have common sense. But the rest of you; come on lets get real! If scientists are so wrong, then why do so many science inventions work? You can believe any thing that you want, but I’m sorry to say that belief is not always fact. Here is a fact, you sitting their answering question on your computer that happens to be the product of science.

Look at it like this. They carbon dated the Shroud that Jesus was buried in…
It came back being much younger than the church claims… the church won’t let anyone touch it again.
The church won’t do carbon dating on a piece of wood that is supposedly from his cross.
You tell me who’s trying to cover their own A**E*

I missed the original question too, but I think you are throwing the baby out with the bathwater. As a Christian, I don't say all science is wrong. Most of science is merely a revelation of what is there. When science guesses (and is in contradiction to what I believe is God's word...the bible)...that is when I will take what God has said over what "man" has said. i.e., that evolution bunk. I believe in micro evolution, that is...within a species. I do not believe we were once something in muck that crawled onto land and evolved.

Yes, I benefit from inventions...no question about it. I think inventors are brilliant!

And, for the person below me *smiles* it was example of choosing to believe God over "science"...thank you.

I've found that many of the religious people here have totally closed off their mind to anything other than whats written in the bible... they aren't even willing to look at anything else. I had a conversation with a young woman last night that i IMed from here and she was completely brainwashed... she couldn't see the absurdity of her claims and was absolutely unwilling to even look at any information i sent her to... She couldn't even think for herself! She answered most of my questions with scripture.

It makes me sad and worried that there are people like that in our world.

Since you didn't ask a real question, let me ask for you.

Is Sean P (the author of this thread) abusing Yahoo Answers for the purpose of promoting his ideology?

What does evolution have to do with electronics?
It's the Darwinists we have problems with(worse than Jehovah's wittiness) not scientists.

I missed the original question, but I assume it revolves around why the Bible doesn't mention dinosaurs.
