I am currently sitting on the fence on this....I myself has got some paranormal encounters before and is beginning to believe that there is something out there other than us humans....but whether they are ghosts or just residual mind waves left behind by the departed leaves me questioning....what about you?

I didn't smite anyone and what's this about a flood and plagues of locusts ? Ugh I hate insects. I didn't realise that they would evolve.

This is a direct quote from one answerer, but it's been said several times before too:

"Since you do not believe in God, you are acknowledging the existence of God and then denying it. Therefore you are not a true atheist."

Would anybody like to fill me in on just what this thought-process means? Does this mean that we must believe in absolutely everything that the mind is capable of conceiving of?

Ok, I said this like many times, but I'm a new converter to Islam, and I still need help:
The Noble Qur'an, Al-Nisa (Women), (4:75). Seems to me the true meaning of Jihad (Struggle) is to get rid of oppresion, NOT a holy war, That's my veiw, am I correct?
"And what is wrong with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah, and for those weak, ill-treated and oppressed among men, women and children, whose cry is:"Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us form You one who will protect, and raise for us form You one who will help"

-Al-Ahzab (33:55) talks about veil and 33:59. Are there any other people who are allowed to see me unveiled? And in 33:59, *some* scholars says it means to cover your whole body, but many others say no, you only need to cover all except hands and face as mentioned in a Hadith where it ends as "....And he (Muhammad (PBUH)) pointed to his face and hands". I'm confused. I do cover up except hands and face. help?
