Ok, I said this like many times, but I'm a new converter to Islam, and I still need help:
The Noble Qur'an, Al-Nisa (Women), (4:75). Seems to me the true meaning of Jihad (Struggle) is to get rid of oppresion, NOT a holy war, That's my veiw, am I correct?
"And what is wrong with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah, and for those weak, ill-treated and oppressed among men, women and children, whose cry is:"Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us form You one who will protect, and raise for us form You one who will help"

-Al-Ahzab (33:55) talks about veil and 33:59. Are there any other people who are allowed to see me unveiled? And in 33:59, *some* scholars says it means to cover your whole body, but many others say no, you only need to cover all except hands and face as mentioned in a Hadith where it ends as "....And he (Muhammad (PBUH)) pointed to his face and hands". I'm confused. I do cover up except hands and face. help?

Congatulations on entering into the religion of 'Peace'

Sister, dont ask questions on an open forum, because the people may mislead you by providing false information about islam. The way to understand the Quran is by studying it under a teacher.

As regarding the Jihad. It has various meanings, Jihad literally means " To strive " or struggle. For what? it means to strive for good. Strive for something that is good for the humanity. It comes in a Hadeeth of the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) that the best Jihad is to do the Jihad (Strive) against one's Nafs (Desires and Lust). It comes in another hadeeth as the best jihad is to say the truth against a Tyrant ruler. So the term Jihad has many shades of meanings. ANd when the question comes to defend Islam, the best Jihad is to lay your life for protecting the Deen of ALLAH.

People who kill innocent civilians on the name of Jihad, are wrong and should come towards the true meaning.

Regarding your other question, Hijab (cover) is for the safety of muslim women. The west fails to realize the etiquette of hijab as it only can prevent social eveils like rape, molestation, eve-teasing etc. Hijab is for both men and women. But the form differs. The common Hijab is that both should lower their gaze when they see the person of the opposite sex.

As regarding the dress as hijab, there are several Hadeeth that throw some light in this regard. Some Ulama (scholars) prefer to cover up the entire body (including the face and the hands) by quoting the related Hadeeth. Some other scholars give permission to cover everything except the face and hands. Remember both the viewpoints are correct as both are supported by Hadeeth.

But in todays world of fitnah (trials and increasing sins) i recommend you to cover everything even your face and the hands. This is for your own safety and betterment.

And it comes even from the time of Umar (R), the 2nd Caliph that the women covered even their face and hands because of the changing times (increase in the sins). And ALLAH knows best.

Sister I have read the Holy Quran ans as I'm the Muslim i'll try to help you /..... In this verse Allah the Al-mighty is saying that fighting for those who are weak and in trouble like in Palesein and Leobnan.... and from this verse it is clear that Allah Al-Mighty didn't used the word "muslim" this means that us muslim should also protect those who are non-Muslims..... Yes it is expressing the true meaning of Jihad....

See , that the beauty of Human being is due to his hair styles...If a bold (don't have hairs) roaming on the street than no person will see her.... Similarly if the women wearing Hijab (covering her head) is going somwhee than no one will see her (with wrong deeds)...... in 33:55 it is given that it is not neccessary to covet your heads in front of these relatives whose discription is givn in the verse....

According to the Hadith it is Sahih(right) b/c Ulma (scholars of islam) has proved it right.... So and I also do believe that showing your face is permitted..... ...

(((The conditions change if you are a wife and if your husband is saying you to cover your face that it is obligatory upon you)))

Hope the answer of questions.....

Peace be upon you,

yes Jihad does not mean to kill innocent people but to stand against atrocities and also to be able to control your own desire within you. This topic cant be discussed in few words same for the veil. there is another haadiths where the prophet PBUH said that not to talk to outsider except in veil (over face) As you will progress in your quest for knowledge you will encounter many confusing questions that others will put in your way or that yourself will have doubts don't worry ask as many questions as you wish. To help you I advise you to check these sites islamqa.com and harunyahya.com. And also read many hadiths mainly Bukhari, Muslim.

May Allah help you.

you're spreading prohibited techniques of Islam. Imam Jafer Sadiq isn't a God. Stealing is an more advantageous sin in islam. I or Sunnis like me will by no skill settle for such home made memories. Imam Jafer Sadiq replaced right into a pious and God fearing human being

You are right, this is the true meaning of Jihad.
Yes, you should cover all your body except your face and hands.
people who can see you unveiled except these mentioned in this sourah are: your father- in- law, grand father, uncle,Father's uncle, mother's uncle, grand children, mother's grand father, father's grand father.

you asked about your previous sins, here is the answer:
( Forgiveness for All Previous Sins)
When someone converts to Islam, God forgives all of his previous sins and evil deeds. A man called Amr came to the Prophet Muhammad and said, “Give me your right hand so that I may give you my pledge of loyalty.” The Prophet stretched out his right hand. Amr withdrew his hand. The Prophet said: {What has happened to you, O Amr?} He replied, “I intend to lay down a condition.” The Prophet asked: {What condition do you intend to put forward?} Amr said, “That God forgive my sins.” The Prophet said: {Didn’t you know that converting to Islam erases all previous sins?}1

After converting to Islam, the person will be rewarded for his or her good and bad deeds according to the following saying of the Prophet Muhammad : {Your Lord, Who is blessed and exalted, is most merciful. If someone intends to do a good deed but does not do it, a good deed will be recorded for him. And if he does do it, (a reward of) ten to seven hundred or many more times (the reward of the good deed), will be recorded for him. And if someone intends to do a bad deed but does not do it, a good deed will be recorded for him. And if he does do it, a bad deed will be recorded against him or God will wipe it out.}2

women are required to cover ALL but the hands and face!
for example you can wear long skirt and a long sleaves shirt and cover your hair and neck.

Well, I just wonder why you converted in the first place. I guess just bored with your life. The Bible warns us of false prophets. Step back and ask Jesus to take control of your life! Its the only way to reach salvation. Here me! Its for your own good.
