in the bible it says "I will bless those who bless thee (Israel) and I will curse those who curse thee"

That is where they got it that God is on Israel's side.

I agree with it.

I don't think so, but then again I am not American, Christian, Jewish, Israeli, Muslim nor Arab. Nor do I believe in God, so its a pointless argument. Look how much trouble their God has got them in, if they were only to realise the depth of the con, they would put their arms away and move somewhere safe. There is no point in living your life by an outdated book written by racist, sexist ideologues. Live in the now and forget the "wisdom" of dead sages.

The only way I see it, the Lord said not to return evil for good. So if the Israelis gave up the Gaza strip, and the palestinians are still not happy and keep on harassing the Jewish people they are returning evil for good, so then I would think God is on the side of Israel. I know it is written that the Lord Himself will fight for Israel.

Personally i dont understand why God is brought up in war, does God always take a side? i believe that if he was gonna take a side he would obviously take the side of peace cause killing is probably against the bible or somtin, i mean killin is bad rite? and to all you intense yahoo answerers without humor i just popped in a lil sarcasm for you all, and bak to this war
this is reality
A) Christians in the US believe that God is on their side
B) insurgents believe God is on their side

isnt it weird how god can be on 2 sides at once? who is right?
the answer? Nobody
cause only idiots would believe that God would ever take a side in war, if anything he condemns it

I believe that throughout history God has allowed the Jews to be persecuted for their rebellion and stubborness. It's all throughout the Bible. But He continues to love Israel, the apple of His eye. so to speak. He is on their side. Israel is where it began and where it will end. Israel is a very small place compared to those around it, but it has blessings none other has. God tends to choose the underdogs. the ones who seem least He chooses to be greatest. When the end comes God will step in and end the battle forever.

God is on the side of Christians only. Since Israel and Palestine follow false gods, the devil is on both of their sides.

God is not in favor of war. Wars are not the way. God loves everyone, that includes Israeli and Palestain soldiers though He does not approve what they're doing.

I think God is playing Command & Conquer, and he's playing both sides simultaneously.

For true god there are no differences. God sees soul not caste, color, position, nationality, etc... That all we see, not him. He loves all the creatures the same.
Sinner and lover.
