Seems to me if he could talk to us it would make us instant believers and followers. I'd damn sure get down on my knees if I heard a strange voice out of nowhere telling me to worship him. But that will never happen to a sane person.

Atheists say they don't believe in God nor his existence. Those who do want to start believing that there is an Higher power want to pray but there heart still have doubts because of unbelief without faith and perseverance. God communicates with everyone who have a contrite spirit and listening ear. God loves all atheists and unbelievers. God is willing and they must be willing also.

God doesn't force himself on people but he does send gentle urging from the Holy spirit which you could feel at times if you could admit it. Unless He has given up on you which is really sad . The bible tells where God has turned them over to a reprobate mind.
