For those of you who have your own ideas about what we are, where we came from, and where we're going. I'm curious about other people's philosophies. The wilder the better. I apologize if this question has already been asked twelve dozen times. :)

And why do many Protestants today find the teaching of Jesus in John Chapter 6 to be a hard teaching and reject it?

If yes, where in the world is it.In the bible, it stopped right there where Adam and Eve evicted because of their disobedience and then they multiplied and never mentioned again the Garden of Eden where and what happened. Can anyone point out what part of the world is it?

"Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift." -The Holy Bible (Matthew 5:23-24)

"Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a gold censer. He was given a great quantity of incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the holy ones, on the gold altar that was before the throne." -The Holy Bible (Revelation 8:3)

"The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?" -The Holy Bible (1 Corinthians 10:16)

I am white and have an african american boyfriend yet my religous family refuses to accept that fact. They refuse to even talk to him because of his color but he is the most intelligent, sweet person I have ever met. It makes me think that if, for example, i was homosexual, that i would be ripped apart like him. My thoughts are that it Jesus died for the forgiveness of our sins not the power to identify sins, and as long as it is not physically hurting anyone else then what gives us the right to judge anyone else. We are not the judge, god is....if im wrong please let me know....

I once joined a certain church (no names) and I would hear the pastor mumbling to himself during a prayer. I asked someone what this was all about and they told me the pastor was " talking in tongues ".

My question is :- If that is so, why was there no-one there to interpret what he was saying?

this is a serious question, but all answers welcome.

I don't ever remember telling you to hate people because they don't believe the same things you do.

A while ago I came across some very interesting information
on the ancient church. Apparently it is not against the halacha
( jewish law) for two women to be together. On another
note two men together was punishable by death.

Lesbians and bisexual women where allowed
and thought of as worthy of marraige to a High
Priest as long as they covenanted to bear children
unto him. There was apparently a priest in the post-
talmudic period who tried to make it unlawful but,
he was overturned by the other high priests.

I have a long page about this on file. Unfortunately
there is not enough space on here to post it.
I will however post the links that might be of
interest to some.

(1) Married.
(2) Engaged in consentual intercourse with a female.
(3) Fathered children.

I don't understand why any of these things would be offensive in nature to Christians.

Do you think before the fall that he may have physically been able to walk in the garden with Adam and Eve there? Was his separation not only mental but physical? Do you think that when mans eyes were open, he could not stand to look upon a Holy God? Just wondering..........
