if you think about it, "satan" gave us knowledge, "god wanted to keep it away, how can we be sure that what christians worship isnt in fact satan, and the satan we try to keep from our lives is in fact god

This is kinda what Satanists believe, except that they believe God and his followers are evil, and Satan good. The Cathars of Southern France & Northern Spain used to believe that the Earth was created by the Devil and that the God of Christians &c. was, in fact, the Devil. These guys were basically entirely wiped out by the armies of the Pope in the 13th & 14th centuries. The real meaning of the name Lucifer is "the bringer of light". You are not the first to decide on this possibility, and given that the worst perpetrators of organised violence in the world right now profess to be religious Jews, Christians and Muslims, your idea is not so stupid as the inevitable backlash you're going to get from other answerers would have you believe.
