Here are some facts about the Bible.
The Bible of Judaism and the Bible of Christianity are different, however, in some important ways. The Jewish Bible is the Hebrew Scriptures, 39 books originally written in Hebrew, except for a few sections in Aramaic. The Christian Bible is in two parts, the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament. The Old Testament is structured in two slightly different forms by the two principal divisions of Christendom. The version of the Old Testament used by Roman Catholics is the Bible of Judaism plus 7 other books and additions to books (see the accompanying table); some of the additional books were originally written in Greek, as was the New Testament. The version of the Old Testament used by Protestants is limited to the 39 books of the Jewish Bible. The other books and additions to books are called the Apocrypha by Protestants; they are generally referred to as deuterocanonical books by Roman Catholics.
Conclusion
If Bible had been the Divine Code, It should have been in a single and comprehensive shape. There should not be several books and versions and scriptures. So I believe that this Bible is not the correct one

I don't believe there is that much to most of the "Bible code" talk.
I have looked into it extensively, and the fact is, almost anyone can find anybody's name in the Bible if they look using the "codes"
It's mostly a sham.
The Bible IS the Word of God and nothing has the kind of amazing track record that the Bible has, but there isn't much to the Bible Codes stuff.
It's funny. There is so much amazing stuff in the regular text, why does anyone think they need to read between the lines??
This is God's actual living word to mankind!!
(and it has been proven to be, time and time again).

This is a complex and certainly controversial topic.
The principle of this code is that "if" you took every word in Torah (first 5 books of the Hebrew/Old Testament). . .then retained only every 4th letter (as an Equidistant Letter Sequence or ELS). . . that you end up with a cross word puzzle containing past, present, and future events. . .people, place, etc.
What is not so readily explained. . .to the reader who does not understand Hebrew grammar. . .is that Torah is made up of only consonants (no vowels). . .which means you can take 2 or 3 (sometimes more) consonants and insert just about any vowels or combinations thereof and derive different words and meaning. Therefore, the prospect of "forced" meaning is present in such a method. . .making it difficult to prove this is what the text literally meant or prophesied.
That said. . .there are some amazing structural qualities about Torah. . .as there are about the Koran. . .demonstrating an advanced understanding and appreciation for mathematics in the crafting of the underlying text itself.
Hope this helps!

as this is but a long line of books and documents that they have used like this I don't belive it. The Bible Code, there was one with the Declairation Of Independence and others. Seems there is another new one about every 6 years.
You also have to remember the Bible is a translation and the origional letters wouldn't match up.

I could sit down with Harry Potter and most likely find "codes" on it. It's just a matter of imagination of putting it together. Someone had a lot of time on their hands to find codes in the Bible.

The Bible is so complex. I think we could study it forever and not understand it all. It is alive and powerful. The strange thing I have found in reading the bible, you can read it and read it and get something different each time. You can read a verse then one day a light comes on about a meaning in it you never even considered before.

If you mean the Da Vinci Code Stuff I think Da Vinci would be embarrassed. The web is full of Scholarly well-researched sites that say that this book was anything but scholarly or well researched.
I guess the author got one of His "facts" from a tour guide. About how many panes of glass in the pyramid at the Louvre(You can count them easily by looking at it, I guess Brown couldn't see very well)

Half true half false coz the bible was edited by the Vatican shortly before it could have been translated to languages for the sake that people will patronize the religion. I'm Catholic, too, okay? But that doens't excuse my religion from having their mistakes thrown to forgetting.

It does seem pretty convincing but I have a hard enough time trying to work out the things clearly evident in the Bible so I dont spend to much time investing in secret patterns. (and grammar)
