I have always thought it odd that two people who seem to so completly hate each other are all derived by the same person (Abraham). It just all seems like one big nasty family argument killing each others blood relationships.

I thnk if Abraham knew it all was going to be like this he would have remained childless.

I mean its kind of ironic. Christian knights used to use it on their shields and on their armour to symbolize the 5 wounds of Jesus and also to symbolize the four elements used to create everything under God. What is the reason for this change? Why is it automatically assumed that anyone who wears one is a sinner eventhough they themselves are a devout christian? Why is it a symbol of evil now and wasn't before?

My friend goes through this everyday and she even was told to leave a party because of this.

I'm not a Christian myself I'm an Eclectic, but I honestly would like to understand this. I hate seeing her getting upset because she feels she is being hated because she views a pentacle in the old Christian belief as a symbol of her faith.

This news article says that, between 1982 and the present, Darwin's finches on the Galapagos Islands are CURRENTLY evolving...

If you believe in a literal translation of the Bible creation story (myth), then how can these birds be evolving right before our very eyes????? Is this not PROOF of evolution?? Where am I going wrong in believing in evolution? Please explain.....

I have always felt weird praying to Jesus and have long wondered why i cant just pray to God, after all Jesus taught us how to pray and it was fully addressed to God.
Reading the story over and over (Luke) i have come to the conclusion that Jesus was a man, a very wise and inspired man WHO'S advises i still follow.
I believe in God and go to christian churches but i have never been baptised, however whenever i am asked the question; are you a christian? i am unsure how to answer

i dont believe in heaven, hell, god, satan. i just dont i believe when we die we die, thats it no memories no nothing. but thats just me, ive had a hard life growing up and thats when i decided i dont believe, so am i wrong for thinking what i think? because my husband is real touchy about it and he always gets mad when we have a conversation about it.

If we are in the process of evolution then why didn't the animals evolve into smarter animals so they don't get killed like we have? We have been killing animals and eating them all of our human days, how come they havn't caught up to us as far as order in their society and defend themselves? We have evolved soooo greatly how come its the same thing with animals? Whale gives birth to whale, monkey gives birth to monkey, horse gives birth to horse yada yada. Why are we the only one's if evolution is in place?

I am not getting that, by the very definition of the word we are very spiritual, in fact a lot of us do humanitarian works, volunteer, meditate, avoid eating other animals, work and live just like you. Amazingly enough to the best of my knowledge we are usually a pretty entertaining bunch- not a banana reference (insert eye-roll here). So why you believe that we are a soul-less and condemned to burn in hell? Doesn’t your Christian values of accepting all God’s children and condemning those that do not follow your path seem a bit…I don’t know…say passive/aggressive?

YES THIS IS 100% true i just summed it up so you wouldnt have to read a full page of my entire story so here it is again

i was born male and with klinefelter syndrome im 20 now, at age 13 i developed breast, i tried to hide them but i couldnt, my parents raising me in a christian house hold were very sweet and nice, at age 18 my parents had been in my room and saw all my bras that i had been using to hide my breast i was immidiatly kicked out, i later on learned that i was born with klinefelter syndrome why did got turn me into a transsexual?

and why wouldnt any of you beleive me, do any of you even know what klinefelter syndrome is, and yes my parents really did kick me out, i live with my sister now but if you want the entire story ask me and ill tell you, you can chose to beleive me or not but im not lying

Before any poster accuses me of plagiarism I got the idea to post this joke re-edited from another poster. Read it and let me know if A, it is funny and B, more importantly it expresses a truth of types and if so what? Without Adieu here it is.

There was this guy who died and went straight to Heaven. He met God, & God being a good sort of fellow and all, decided to give the man a personal tour.

"And here," God said. "We have the Muslim neighborhood...and just across the river over there, are the atheists; they're building lots of condos in that area...it's a hot and growing area."

They continued around Heaven, visiting all the different neighborhoods.
