So many of us have family or friends serving our country as we speak. I certainly pray that they make it home OK. As for world peace; I am not sure that there is such a thing. This world is just too big and ran so differently that it would be hard to do.

World Peace is a big lie. There never was and there never will be peace all over the world.

I hope that one day people will gain enough knowledge, tolerance and respect of others to have world peace. I don't pray.

No.

There's never been world peace, why should it happen now?

Besides why should we pray for ANYTHING, except for us to accept The Lord's will?

Praying for things is like reminding the Lord of things (s)he has forgotten. . .do you really think God forgot about your dog's broken leg?

No. The wold isn't capable of it. Hates it if it obtains it. I do push for ... a ' return ' ... shall we say?

I'm expectant on the concept, soon, and when anybody least expects it. They'd really hate this peace, besides.

This is a quote from Yahoo Answers--and I apologize to whoever wrote it--I don't remember their name.
Two hands working accomplish more than one thousand hands clasped in prayer.

Jesus did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
