Why do people hate satanist so much?

Not truly, although i have looked into it and read a few books
People don't "hate" them i a sense, they are more afraid of what they don't understand
But then again there are people out there who do hate satanists because it is assumed that they are witches or a person who looks deeper into black magic then most
Also because influences back in time, satanists were known as evil
But i don't hate satanists ( although today most are only dabblers ) So this is only what i believe.

I'm not a Satanist, but many people think I am, lol.
And I don't know why people hate Satan. He never did anything to me, probably because I don't believe he exists.

Well satan the one you worship or whatever is controlling, mean, rude, has a lot of attitude, depressing, supressing, repressing, full of anxiety, worried all the time, full of fear, selfish, arrogant, obnoxious, immature, sexist, raping, prejudiced, racist bigot..... and I can go on. He is everything that would want to hurt, harm a person in anyway, why would you want to exhalt him?!?!?

I am and people hate us because their bible claims we are evil and harm animals and children but if they read their bible it would prove that they (Christians) killed animals for their God and killed people for not believing in their God. Christians have killed so many people for believing in other gods.
