Yes, because Christians think that their way of life is the only way and it is not. I have been to the Buddhist temple on many occasions and they believe that the way to heaven or a good afterlife is by being a good person. Sound like the Christians, well it should. Buddhist is to the Asians what Jesus is the the Europeans. Get it.

I find it offensive yes, because it implies a "know-it-all" attitude when the actual truth is, NO ONE, no matter what religion, knows for sure what happens after you pass on. I don't care how much you claim to know. They are all theories.
Therefore, I feel it's judgmental for a Christian to tell me that Jesus is the only way to heaven when they know I'm not a Christian. (And I won't be ever again!!)

I find it very offensive, because I don't want to go anywhere after I die.
I mean I sure wouldn't want to suffer buring in hell eternally, on the other hand, I hate the idea of being with god forever which means I'll be forced to praise and sign hymns to someone I don't like eternally.
It is very offensive for christians to keep presenting the heaven story as if it were true and they'd been there.

i find it offensive that a religion that preaches love and that says "judge not lest you be judged" can be carried across by some of it's adherants as being a hating and judgemental religion.
at the end of the day, religions are just complicated forms of superstition.
i do find it patronising not just offensive that christianity is citedby its followers as the only way to heaven. i find meditation the nearest thing i get to heaven, apart from the first time i made love.
i recommend buddhist meditation though, or meditation in general, it is beautiful.

I find it both ludicrous and pathetic.
I have no problems with anyone's faith, belief-systems or anything like that, but the measure of purile arrogance that SOME Christians express in regard to "the way" borders on savage superstition. This isn't to say that there are no truths in Christian doctrine, but it all boils down to what is essentially an awareness issue. The Christians who most adamantly state that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven are in many instances, the same Christians who couldn't tell you ANYTHING about another religion or philisophical discipline. Too many Christians aren't aware of the existential or spiritual elements of their own faith system, let alone its history; they're ONLY aware of the legalistic side of things...the rules and the regulations, but they lack even a rudimentary awareness of WHY those rules and regulations were ever written in the first place. They have NO human context within which to base their assumptions, and as a result of that, are decadently ill-equipped to speak to OTHER humans in regard to issues of right and wrong. I find this to be offensive and pathetic: offensive, because of the sheer amount of arrogance that it takes to present such a proposition, regardless of what anyone else has to say, and pathetic in that is speaks of a profound lack of human socialization.
Naturally, there ARE Christians who do not aggressively dismiss other religions or even the absence of religion, and these Christians are not the ones I've spoken of above.
Additionally: if we were to apply what SEEMS to be common Christian logic to other aspects of life, we will see the flaws in it.
Using the words "I love you" for example. By flawed Christian logic, there is only ONE way to say that. On a level this is true: there is only one way to say "I love you" in English, but not every human on the planet speaks English. There are some who've never even heard a single English word in their entire lives, and so to state, blithely and ignorantly, that there is only ONE way to say something like that, totally denies the fact that another way to say "I love you" would be: "Я люблю вас" for example.
Anyone who speaks Russian will tell you that "Я люблю ваc" IS one Russian way of saying "I love you" and that's just ONE example. There are hundreds of human languages; and with this sort of diversity in something like language, then it follows that there have to be an equal number of ways...if not more, to the enlightened state of post-mortal existence that some people may term the afterlife in Heaven..

Nothing is offensive about this, I want to see anyone getting into heaven without accepting Jesus Christ who is the son of God. He was sent in Human form to die for our sins, that is why we are covered by grace and can just get on our knees and ask for forgiveness.

Offensive? Not unless its being used to invalidate my own beliefs. Closeminded? Yes. Everyone relates to what they consider "divine" or "spiritual" in a different way, even by rejecting it in the case of atheists. Religion is so very personal, so everyone will have a different "path to heaven". Its one thing to believe something, but another to tell someone they're wrong, or to thnk less of them for having a different opinon than you. At least, thats what I think :)

In the Bible Jesus says, "Follow the path and you will get to the Kindom of Heaven." Then someone says, "How do will we know the way?" Jesus says, "The way is though me." Now it doesnt say that per batem, but Jesus does say "The way is through me." So being Christian means following the teachings of Jesus, in saying that, they have to say and believe that.

I do not find it offensive, for to be offended is a choice; they simply do not understand the meaning: Jesus (Christ) being the only way means that there is one "place" to "go", one truth, one life, and we are all part of that life. It does not not mean that one religion or spiritual teaching is the only true one, and all others are precluded.
There is God, and everything God created...nothing else.

Christians say it, because Jesus said it. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father but by me." (John 14).
God also says, "The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."
The natural person (the person who does not have a personal relationship with God) finds Jesus' claim to be unacceptable, because he doesn't understand them.
By the way Rogue3Xmen, Christians don't believe that being a good person gets you to heaven. The Bible says, "There are none righteous, no not one." and... "For it is by grace that you're saved, through faith, and not of yourselves. It is a GIFT OF GOD, not of works, lest any man should boast."
