In sexual education, sexology and medicine, they all agree that it all starts with lust. Yet Christians attack lust as if it was a sin. If you can't have lust, then you can't go any further.

Therefore all married couples started with the sin of lust. How hypocrit can Christianity be ?

Is there any doubt within any established scientiific community of the validity of evolution as a legitimate science, that is, those who do not have a specific religious agenda to offer a theory such as creationism in its place? Would this question receive a similar rate of Yes and No answers if I were to post it in the category of Science, Mathematics and Biology where there may be more respondants of scientific inclination?

I believe in God, But I'm not Baptised.
I am a virgin and I don't believe in sex before marriage, But I'm not Baptised.
I am a overall good person and do no harm to others. But I'm not Baptised.
I am honest, loyal and have faith. But I'm not Baptised.
I don't go to churh AND I'm not Baptised.
I also don't take the Bible word for word, and consider a book of lessons rather than a complete history, AND I'm not Baptised.

Will I go to hell because I'm not Baptised?

For my following question, don't counter-comment "I didn't know it was cool to hate Muslims." Thank You.

For my Real Question:

Since 9/11 and the sudden emergence of "Islamic terrorist groups," many people have took to the time to find it in their hearts to hate all Muslims for the actions of few and then place blame on the Koran insisting that Islam is an indoctrination of Satan and the likes.

Also, since 9/11, people believe that Muslims are an evil new force with the Koran as their manuscript and that they must Crusade against Islam and Muslims. This doesn't come from Hardline Protestants, its also Atheists, Hinduists, moderate Agnostics and Buddhists, and anyone who takes to heart the idiotic notion that Muslims are an evil group of people.

Example(s): Theo Van Gogh, Jyllands-Posten Cartoons; why do those people find it necessary to offend Muslims? Does it make the world a better place? 200 Protesters died because of their hate-filled ignorance!

WHY?

Christians seem to condemn all forms of sex as a sin. They are angry against porn shops, sex on tv, sex in the movies.

A pastor even repented for "looking at the girls", as if looking was a sin.

Another pastor told me that thinking of sex or of naked women is a sin.

Another "fellow" christian told me that if you look at women it's a sin unless you are to marry her. I mean how can I know the future, what if I don't marry her in the future, my looking at her now would become a sin in the future.

Some Christian litterature even condemned flirting and hanging with the opposite sex.

It would seem that if we recollect all the Christian teachings, EVERYTHING that regards sex, romance, flirting, fantasy, desires etc. Are all EVIL SINS.

But then they encourage you to marry and have children.

How will you find a mate if it's a sin to look for one. How will you have children if it's a sin to have the pulses that give you a *****_.

Should Christians remain single ?

You've seen this haven't you? They whisper...really loud...and try to convince you that they are being compassionate...sometimes they choke on some tears too. Then they start talking in a plain voice out of the blue, as if they were never choked up at all?

And then say ppl who challenge God will go to hell. If God is so forgiving, why would he condemn his children to hell regardless of what they did?
You know, it sort of feels like high school when all the popular kids made fun of the dorky kids just b/c they weren't like them.
Tell me how you can prove to me or any other atheist/agnostic/spiritualist that they are wrong? If you do, who are you to judge?

Mt 3:16-17

And when Jesus was baptised, he went up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on him ....."

John 3: 5

Jesus answered, "Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.

Acts 2: 38-39

Peter (said) to them, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the holy Spirit. For the promise is made to you and to your children and to all those far off, whomever the Lord our God will call."

Romans 6: 3 -4

Or are you unaware that we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life.

1 Corinthians 12: 13

For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.

Galatians 3: 27

For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

Colossians 2: 11-12

In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not administered by hand, by stripping off the carnal body, with the circumcision of Christ. You were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.

1 Peter 3: 20 -21

who had once been disobedient while God patiently waited in the days of Noah during the building of the ark, in which a few persons, eight in all, were saved through water. This prefigured baptism, WHICH SAVES YOU NOW .

I do not believe that bible is accurate. Jews have Torah that's the actual writing. When any translation from Hebrew is done in any other language a lot is lost or added. For those who know only English and not any other language, they don't know how the meaning of words are diffrent from a culture to culture and language to language. Even English translations differ so that we have 4-5 English translations of the bible. If you read the bible and it is like god is speaking to you... what about illiterates? And if you read to an illiterate, what intonation do you use? From your personality, from your dope, or from so called spiritual "Scotty beam me up"?

Often fundamentalists claim that the Bible and other Holy books condemn homosexuality, and use this as rationale for condemning gays and denying them human rights.

The Bible is just as strong in condemning both adultery and divorce (Leviticus 20:10 says adulterers must be put to death and both the gospels of Luke and Mark equate remarriage after divorce with adultery), yet I hear no televangelists calling for the rights of divorcees and adulterers to be revoked.

Christian men should not allow women to continue on their paths of indecency and deception... sayeth the bible. What shall we do about it? See below.

"Let a woman learn in silence with full submission. I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she is to keep silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet she will be saved through childbearing, provided they continue in faith and love and holiness, with modesty. "[1 Timothy, chapter 2]

I love my daughter more than anything.....there is nothing that she could EVER do that would make me love her any less. God feels all the same emotions we feel twenty times greater, I have a hard time believing that such a loving God would allow his children to burn for eternity. How will the human race be judged? If some are destined for hell will the "not so bad" christian adultress burn forever just the same as the seriel killer who sinned twenty times greater by killing and torturing dozens of people. I have studied my bible and I am still lost....I am just curious to hear some different opinions and input on difficult subject

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying ALL non-Christians think we are stupid or dumb, but there is a large group that does. Christians are not stupid. I've been a Christian all my life and I have an IQ of 133, that means saying I'm highly intelligent is an understatement. So why do say we're stupid? I just don't get it.

Or is Free Will an illusion, custom-made for all of us limited beings, after all? ... In other words, is it a complementary notion to justify, balance and supplement one's actions, faith and powers of imagination?

P.S. I am NOT trying to be confrontational, nor offensive to anyone. … I am merely asking a logical question and would appreciate your sincere responses.

I know that beside the words from bible there are a lot of interpretations, and i mean A LOT. Are those interpretations another words from god? Look at Jews, when they read the Torah, they just read it without any interpretation. Why can't christians do the same?
And about bible "accuracy", there cannot be any accuracy in bible since it was written, rewritten, translated, retranslated, interpreted and reinterpreted. You never get the accuracy in any translation from a language to another.
