There is no fiery burning hell; that's a manmade idea, not Almighty God's.
The long-taught idea of “hell” or “inferno” depends upon the doctrine of a human soul being something separate and distinct from the human body that cannot die; spiritual and invisible, something that we cannot feel with our sense of touch. Common sense tells us if that were so, the pain of fire could not be felt, as fire is an earthly element requiring the physical body to sense. Also, the Bible is very clear in stating that the soul is subject to death, saying: “The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.” (Ezekiel 18:4, 20)
Pagan religions are noted for teaching red-hot hells. The ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, Phoenicians, Persians, Grecians and Hindus taught flaming hells. The Buddhists teach a hell wherein people cook and sizzle in blazing kettles. Is the Bible hell as hot as the pagans paint theirs? Here is the answer.
Hell corresponds to the Hebrew Sheol and the Greek Hades. It also says that hell comes from the English word helan, meaning “to conceal.” So the early meaning of the word “hell” carried no thought of any kind of heat. It merely meant “concealed.” We have found, too, that the original Hebrew word, usually translated “hell” in English Bibles, is Sheol. Now what does Sheol mean? It simply means “a hollow place.” So the original Hebrew word perfectly corresponds with the original or early meaning of the English word “hell.”
The vital question is, Did the inspired Hebrew Bible writers say that conscious life and red-hot activity exist in Sheol or hell? No, quite the opposite! Instead of blazing fire it is described as a “land of darkness.” (Job 10:21) Instead of a place of soul-chilling shrieks it is described as a place of “silence.” (Ps. 115:17) The Catholic Douay Bible, at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, says: “The living know that they shall die, but the dead know nothing more. Neither have they a reward any more: for the memory of them is forgotten. Whatsoever thy hand is able to do, do it earnestly: for neither work, nor reason, nor wisdom, nor knowledge, shall be in hell [Sheol, AS], whither thou art hastening.” So, since the “dead know nothing more,” or as the King James Version says, “the dead know not any thing,” it would be impossible for them to know conscious torment. And since there is no work in hell, how can there be activity, red-hot or otherwise?

first of all, if you're looking for truth, don't search the opinions of kids on the internet. obviously, there's a variety of opinions, some claiming to be Biblical, some saying the Bible says this, but couldn't tell you where, etc. the best thing for you to do is to keep seeking truth in the Bible, keep praying and having faith in God.
when you find that truth, you might realize that your "loving God" wouldn't allow his children to burn for eternity, because that god doesn't exist. God is a perfect and righteous and holy judge and leaves nothing in darkness, leaves no sin or deed out, even something like borrowing without permission. The human race will be judged on the Ten Commandments, the law written in every human's heart. In the Supreme Court today, would a GOOD and righteous judge let guilty murderers, adulterers, and theives go free? no, a GOOD judge would judge them according to the law and make them pay a debt for their injustices, right? and here's an answer to your punishment based on degree of sin, taken from the Bible [James 2:10,11] '10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. 11For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker. ' Everyone who lies one time, steals anything at any point in their life is guilty of breaking all the Ten Commandments, so regardless of the sin, even breaking one like dishonoring our parents condemns us to Hell just as murdering and torturing dozens of people would."
watch some of these clips, see what Ray Comfort has to say, and the eyes of your heart will be opened, and you'll see.
Don't lose the faith, we're in this together.

The doctrine of hell, is never actually stated anywhere in the Bible. It is arrived at by taking a verse here, a verse there, and mixing them all up out of context, the same way the doctrine of Trinity, heaven, eaucharistic substantiation, and on and on were invented. Even worse, the verses selected are almost universally mistranslations.
The word 'sheaol' in the OT, which literally means 'grave', gets translated as 'hell'. The word Gehenna in the NT, which was a flaming refuse dump outside Jerusalem also gets translated as 'hell', as do the words Hades and Tartarus in some translations.
Then people take descriptions of the lake of fire in Revelation as 'proof' that hell is an inferno, even though Revelation says that death and hell would be thrown into the lake of fire. How do you throw hell into itself? How do you throw death into anything at all? Clearly the lake of fire is metaphor for something else - annihilation.
The modern concept of hell actually was popularized in a work of fiction written hundreds of years ago called "The Inferno". It was "The Late Great Planet Earth" of its day, where wholesale new theologies were tacked onto Christianity through the process of adding fantasy to scripture.

"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."
"There is none righteous, no not one."
Romans 3
Everyone deserves hell, the christian adulteress is no less guilty than the serial killer. She deserves to go to hell on the basis of her sin nature (that is, she was born into sin). The only redemption from that is found in the blood of Jesus Christ. He has made atonement for His children. When preaching the gospel, the apostles and others preached that you must "repent, believe, and be baptized." (acts 4) Repentance comes from a change of heart. Does she begin to fear God, to love His Son, to love HIs word, etc. to turn from sin and self and seek after things above. Simple acceptance or belief of ideas will not save anyone. The road is narrow, and those believers must be committed to persevere, come trials, persecution, or death. Those that persevere to the end will recieve eternal life. We can only persevere by God working in us, both to will and to work for His good pleasure (phillippians 2). Love matters little when there is no justice. God's justice and Holiness must be upheld. He cannot simply pass over sins, there must be an atonement made. Read Romans 9. Try to read it as from the eyes of a child. You may be surprised what you find (avoid the temptation to bring your personal opinions about what it should say to the passage). Our Father is patient and longsuffering, wishing to show the knowledge of His glory on vessels of mercy. Read Romans 1-9. Romans 9 will give you some clear Biblical views on predestination.

You don't understand grace, if you pray and accept Jesus and ask Him to give you a new life and live your life for Him then your sins are covered. The best christian in the world deserves to burn in hell but won't because of God's grace. You have to trust that Jesus sacrifice was good enough to cover your sins. That is the basic truth found in the New Testament, that is where you need to spend most of your time reading. If you read the Old Testament all of the time you will end up getting really confused.

I do not believe that a God exists that would send one of their children to hell for a second, much less an eternity.
We humans do not tolerate this kind of abuse of children.
If we are all God's children, I do not believe that God would harm any of us. The consequences of our poor decisions are enough punishment here on earth and probably more than God would wish on us.
The barbaric Christian God is not worthy of worship. The Nicene Council should have done a better job in selecting gospels.

I learned this, god is a loving god ,but why Lucifer or some of the other angels were jealous of humans was because we have a choices. they didn't have choices.
If a person who has committed multiple sins then you are suppose to pray for your sins and be forgiven. But a serial killer that's a difficult one. If they believe they are doing gods work then they are destined to go to hell, unless they change their ways in the long run and then they can pray for their sins and be forgiven. It's just like saying your sorry and you meant it. but if you didn't mean it then____? Know when Jesus was on the cross along with two others the person who stole asked Jesus to go to heaven with him. He broke a commandment but went to heaven. Why because he was forgiven for his sins. But the other guy who was a murder could have gone to heaven if he asked to be forgiven by Jesus. You dint really go to hell for the sins you did. Its for the life you lived. If you were a good person, or even prayed for your sins and believed in god, I bet some pagans are in heaven because the were good people.

If you are a christian, and really believe in Jesus and ask him in your heart and so on.. you wont go to hell, no matter if you commit adultery.
And if you are in hell, you will suffer just as much as the next guy, no matter if you killed a million people, or made a million people laugh, you are still in hell, and there's no way out, hell will always be hell, I've never heard of a level of suffering, due to how many "bad things" you did on earth.
Its heaven or hell, no in between!
hope that was the answer you were looking for : )

God doesn't put sin on a level as us humans do. Gods discription of sin is knowing the right thing to do and chosing not to do it! We all sin even fellow believers, God judges you by the measure you judge others. So if you don't forgive a killer or another who offends you that is the measure your judged by. No judgement just love and forgiveness!

No, deep within everyone there is good. It may shine brightly through their wonderful and loving actions; or it may be buried deeply behind many terrible deeds. However, everyone has the capability of love and goodness. It simply takes the right person to be able to see this deeply within everyone.
I believe that everyone has the chance to allow this goodness out and the only people who could possibly be destined for "Hell" are those who horde this goodness deep within themselves and refuse to ever share this love and goodness with others. So, to me the only people who would end up in "Hell" are those who waste their gifts and horde their love and are in turn miserable in life. Life is God's greatest gift and the only way I can see him truly being disappointed in a person is if they waste this wonderful gift by becoming a terrible person that hides their own love and passion and denies the wonderful experiences he has granted them.
So, for me, the only way to tell if a person will disappoint God (and by Christian beliefs be destined for "Hell") is if they waste the gifts God has given them, hide their love and deny the experience of life.
