If you look at all the prophets bringing the true gospel they were all hated...thrown in jail, lions dens, stoned etc People like to hear smooth messages like the Pharisees brought...the world wasn't ready for Him and still isn't really.
People like to do what they want to do and if the doctrine you bring no matter who you are doesn't fit what they want to hear they 'get rid of you'. Does everyone who says they love Him really love him? ...He said their lips would be calling him but their hearts would be far from him in Isaiah and Matthew.
Observing the state of the world with more mega churches now than ever but more wickedness than ever too I would say hearts are definitely far from him.
So You Definitely Have To Question The So Called Love People Profess....He Does.

WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM.No0ne should hate Jesus look at what he did for you.He died on a cross so that you could be saved from a burning hell and you ask such a question.
