I have though about that. Okay, so you don't want me to have sex until I'm married but don't you have to have lust to have sex, even when you are married? I mean, people, even married people, don't just say 'Ugh, I'm so sad and hungry I think I'll have sex'. No, they feel LUST.

It's because most Christians do not think that most people have any discipline. Better to just condemn the lust as a sin, to make you feel guilt then to let you be a strong person and only follow your lust when it is appropriate. Christians feel lust too, but they call it love, this is so wrong in the fact that you may marry someone that is not right for you.

You already answered your question: because a weak person will follow their lustful feelings into a much more dangerous situation. Sex isn't the only thing people lust after. No, not all married couples started with the sin of lust. Lust rarely leads to marriage. Have you not heard of mutual respect, LOVE, friendship? You'll have to find some other argument in order to fuel your argument against Christians.

lust is not a sin...but it can turn into a sin of the flesh. You can lust after anything! Lust after sex, lust of money, lust of food...lust of anything. That can lead to you turning away from God. It's not being a hypocrite at all....it can turn/lead into some mighty big things and take you to a point of 'no return'....God only wants the best for His people. Why is it that non-Christians always seem to have a problem with a person living a life after Christ?
By the way, sex WITHIN MARRIAGE is AWESOME!!! It does say in the bible that the bed of a married couple is UNDEFILED!!!! Basically anything goes, as long as it's not degrating or violating the other person. I LUST/LOVE my husband big time! He walks into a room and I LUST after him...we are both Christian...God created us, our emotions, sex, passion etc...you don't think He wants us to ENJOY sex, to have passion for our spouse? (He made us to have passion, and in fact; it's also in the bible that we should NOT 'with hold' sex from our spouse, so they don't go some place else! He wants our sex life to be good, it's important!) You bet He does!!! Read Song of Songs/Salmon...it's a book in the bible about....you got it, LUST/SEX and LOVE!!!!

You have that a bit misquoted. Yes our attraction to others is partly lust. Acting on lust is the sin, not the attraction that brings people together to marry. We think many things we refrain from acting on, there is the divide.
EXAMPLE:
Gluttony is a sin, so if every time I think of over eating chocolates but do not, is that a sin ?..NO I did not give into my thoughts so commited no sin.

No sin is a sin by itself, there's nothing wrong with lust, but there's many things that it can lead to, like adultery, that leads to broken friendships, broken homes, the worst sin that lust leads to is rape. So following this example the list can go on and on including the rest of the sins.

Just passing on the info they've (I've) learned from the Bible. It says lust is a sin, lust in your heart, is a sin. Thats all. Its not hypocritical to say its a sin, its only hypocritical to say its a sin and they dont do it. Any christian that tell you that is lying.

First, there's a difference between attraction and lust.
Second, Christians "attack" lust because lust is defined as: an overwhelming desire or craving (not necessarily sexual). This feeling replaces God as the center of one's life, and is usually extremely self-serving.

Sexual attraction and lust are not the same thing. Lust is the desire to act on that sexual attraction.
Human sexuality is a wonderful thing and sadly can be easily abused as you keep pointing out.

There are some biblical principles that can be applied to the issue of masturbation. Ephesians 5:3 declares, “Among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity.” The Bible teaches us, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” If you cannot give God glory for something, you should not do it. If a person is not fully convinced that an activity is pleasing to God, then it is a sin: “Everything that does not come from faith is sin” (Romans 14:23).
