Earliest verse please that goes on about hell?

Yes it is. Bible is Satan-made.
Qur'an: Never changed from 1400 years until now. Even GOD who give it trough Prophet Muhammad. So, it's so illogical, right if you think that Prophet Muhammad, who is illiterate, and from a merchant background, has so many religious great ideas (if you still believe that Prophet Muhammad made it)?

Bible is Satan-made. Do you have any proof that Paul is not a Satan?
If yes, Why don't you make a new holy book, now?

This is an honest question.

Christianity sends mixed messages: there is compassion and love, but there is also perdition and hate. There are some people on Y!A R&S - Schneb, Contemplative Chanteuse and thegreatwhitehype come to mind - who are decent, positive members of the human race with no hatred in their hearts. There are many Christians here who spend their whole time threatening hell and condemning anyone different.

Why should this be? Which one is it? Why does the belief of some people manifest itself in bigotry and the belief of other people manifest itself in charity?

Please don't tell me that if you accept Jesus in your hearts, you will struggle to live like he wants - clearly that's not entirely the case, and it doesn't mean anything to me anyway. Do you think that a kind, charitable person is that way regardless of his/her god-belief? If that's so, is religion truly immaterial in living a good, pious life?

Most of the people who spout anti-Mormon crap do so after reading a book (not the Bible) or hearing a preacher from another faith bash us and yet when I was taking the discussions with the Missionaries they always encouraged me to read and pray. To study and to ask God. Who is mislead here and who isn't?

God is all... and all are God...
God is the 'Great Void'...
all around us is made up of atoms..
if you see deep in the atoms.. you will see 'void'..

and so break sentences.. you will find words...
break words.. you will find letters..
break letters... you will find void...

when two things work together.. they become strengthen.. that is God...
when two things opposites each other.. they weaken each other.. that is also God...

God is beyond the good.. and the evil...
beyond the mind can think...

God is the way.. the way things as they are...

let us close our eyes togerther for one minutes... and feel the presence of God/ the great void in us and all around us...

come on, close your eyes.. feel the air moving in and out inside you... that is God....

Now this is meant as humor so don't answer if you can't take a joke.. Or are too serious on the matter.. But even so.. As humans we are always told if we die, to "Goto the light". Well.. While camping, this question came to my head as I watched all the bugs fry on the lantern trying to reach the light. Yes.. Stupid question I know.. But I wonder.... hehehe

Lately, a lot of churches are preaching this "prosperity" message, and my concern is that if it is meant to be a "universal" message, then how do we go telling third world people that thet too can be rich??? It seems a bit of a contradiction that these preachers are so well-off financially while the average person sitting in the congregation is struggling? Isn't Jesus talking of spiritual riches and not material wealth?? Yet, these same preachers are saying that poverty is a "spirit" - does that mean that most of us are "possessed"? So, how would a sermon of this content go down in a third world country? They tell us that we too can have the same financial blessings as they and their ministries have- and then ask for financial gifts?? It must be hard when people are sending thousands of dollars from across the globe to them! May we all be so "blessed". I believe in God (I am a christian), but have a hard time swallowing this one!

If a woman is raped she must be stoned to death? Your god said this?

If within the city a man comes upon a maiden who is betrothed, and has relations with her, you shall bring them both out of the gate of the city and there stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbors wife. - Deuteronomy 22:23-24 NAB

Hey, I'm a Muslim

Before you answer the questions, you should brainwash your view of Islam because that we TRUE Muslims hate killings because in Islam, the punishment from killing innocent people is death. And don't blame Islam because of some Muslims that blow themselves near innocent people because of some Satans that tell him that is jihad. That is NOT a jihad. That is suicide + killing. In Islam, suicides = hell, even with killings.

My questions:
1. You knew that bible wasn't created from God and given from Him. It is just someone who wrote it. Paul, etc. Why do you still believe in it? EVEN, if it is a manmade? (it has manmade versions, isn't it?) EVEN it is not consistent!?

2. You believe that Jesus (PBUH) is son of God. So, is God a human? You've already knew that Jesus (PBUH) is a man, right? He ate foods, He breathes, etc. Is God need to breathe??? I'm sorry. I laughed when grew up and knowing that a man worshipped by christians. Could you give me some reason, please?

They have pamphlets on why Mormons are bad, Why Chatholics are bad, Why Jehova's Witness are bad. Do you think it is right to tear down another religion just to make yourself look right?
