Hey, I'm a Muslim

Before you answer the questions, you should brainwash your view of Islam because that we TRUE Muslims hate killings because in Islam, the punishment from killing innocent people is death. And don't blame Islam because of some Muslims that blow themselves near innocent people because of some Satans that tell him that is jihad. That is NOT a jihad. That is suicide + killing. In Islam, suicides = hell, even with killings.

My questions:
1. You knew that bible wasn't created from God and given from Him. It is just someone who wrote it. Paul, etc. Why do you still believe in it? EVEN, if it is a manmade? (it has manmade versions, isn't it?) EVEN it is not consistent!?

2. You believe that Jesus (PBUH) is son of God. So, is God a human? You've already knew that Jesus (PBUH) is a man, right? He ate foods, He breathes, etc. Is God need to breathe??? I'm sorry. I laughed when grew up and knowing that a man worshipped by christians. Could you give me some reason, please?

they will not listen and they will give a silly reasons like Trinity, the son the dad and the holly ghost.then they have ca 3 gods some saying Jesus is a god and some saying son of god and they didn't sure about any thing and they couldn't think logically.if Jesus is a god how he could,t protect him self from people he created by his hands?.and how some 1 die for other people sine that's so silly.then every body will make a sine will be forgiven.then the one who killed people or raped a chilled will be forgiven cause Jesus died for his sine what a is that?.if they stopped to think that they pray to a statues for merry and Jesus man can break it,they will find them selves do the same what pagans does.

wow I don't know where to begin. First of all the Bible is completely inspired by God and He used people to write down things He would have us known. They were writing in the Spirit so it is written by God. I would give you verses on it, but I don't think that would make a difference because if you don't believe it and won't try then you won't and I can't change that.

Also God didn't have to become human, but He did out of love. God is God and Jesus is both fully God and fully man. He is the Son of Man. As prophecies many times He is in the line of David as prophecised. The book of Isiah has several prophecies concernity the coming Christ. We have recently found the dead see scrolls these were the writing of the prophet Isaiah which were written long before Jesus came into the world through the virgin birth. These writing predated his incarnation and they in mind mind prove that He is who He is this plus a personal relationship with Him. The Law only has the power to condem, but the Messiah has the power to give life. Jesus was with God in the begining and was God along with the Spirit all three one and all three serperate at the same time. I know its hard to understand, but if we could understand everything about how God did what He did then nothing would be a mistery and what would we do if we didn't spend all this time pondering life's questions on yahoo answers ;). Seriously though. He came in the flesh in the form of a man for I believe three reasons. 1. To pay the penality for sin for all peoples. 2. To show us how to live and explain the true nature of God and Heaven and Hell to us. 3 So He could be more compassionate for us, because He knows what it is like to be tempted.

Read the book John I am being serious just read the a chapter every day and see if you can't understand why I would follow the person this book tells me about. I would love to email with you.

How do you think we Christians feel when we hear that Muslims are promised 70 virgins in heaven? As if sexuality will have any meaning without a physical body? It gives us a chuckle too.

First, we know that the Bible was, at the very least, inspired by God. Some believe different things about it, but we all believe it is holy in some sense. Personally, I do not believe that it is completely literal, but I respect those that do as all religions have an important lesson for the people to whom they speak. Some believe it is very consistent. I think there are a few minor contradictions, but that over all, it is a perfect book for the western peoples. Yes, I believe it may have some translation
problems and such, but that isn't necessarily the definition
of perfect.

Now, as to your question regarding Christ Jesus (praise be unto him), most Christians believe that he was God incarnate. That God allowed himself to be limited into the form of a human in order to show us the way to overcome coercion in the forms of both pain and pleasure (Christ overcame all temptations and all punishments even unto death). He died for our sake so that
sins may be forgiven. He then showed that he was God when he rose from the dead and overcame death. Most Christians believe in the mystery of the holy trinity which says that while ONE, God has three aspects. The Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Son. During the Jewish Passover meal, there is a ceremony called the Hofi Komen. During this ceremony, three pieces of matza are covered with a white cloth. The middle piece is revealed, broken, hidden and brought back. A Messianic Jew would tell you that this is symbolic of the holy trinity where only one aspect of God is revealed to man, although they are all the same.

Now to the oneness of God...the old testament says, "Hear O Israel, the Lord your God, the Lord is ONE." And when the man Jesus received the spirit of the Lord, he said, "I have become ONE with the Father."

Now here is what I believe. I believe that in his youth, Jesus of Nazareth was a pure man, and the highest spiritual initiate on earth, prepared as a vessel for the Spirit of God. I believe that God descended into Jesus by his annointing and that at that moment, the man Jesus became Jesus Christ--God on Earth.
I believe he was crucified, and that as his blood fell to the earth, the spirit of God fell with it and cleansed the spirit of the earth which had become polluted by evil. I believe that Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

God didn't need to breathe. We needed him to breathe, so he chose to for our sakes. And when you die, regardless of your religion or profession of faith, I believe that you will meet the Christ, and you will understand that he is the only way to eternal life. I believe that mankind needed to move away from the religions of race to a more universal religion--the religion of Jesus
Christ. And that this must be a free will choosing--not at the point of a sword or gun, and not under duress as in the Spanish Inquisition. But in the end, all will choose him because Jesus is Lord. I believe Jesus is the Christ, the Holy One of God, that he rose from the dead on the third day and overcame death.

1. I have faith that the Bible was the word of God given through His instruments - man. What we have is what He wants us to have.
2. Jesus is the Son of God, God made flesh. God is also the Father and the Holy Spirit. All three make up God. So yes, for a time God the Son was made flesh on the earth, he had breath, he ate food, he did what he did to keep his body alive. Just like us. And then the Son went back to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Why do you laugh? It is what it is.

You may be TRUE, but a MUSLIM! Go to the link mentioned below.
Muslims believe that Allah is the author of the Quran, yet the first surah (Fatihah, The Opening) is clearly a prayer addressed to Allah. Other passages which could not have been authored by Allah: 6:104, 6:114, 37:164-6, 51:50, 84:16

All scripture is inspired by GOD...2 Tim. 3:16
Are you absolutely sure that the bible was not inspired by GOD through men as it claims to be? If yes then how or why are you sure? To say that the bible is not consistent or contradicts itself as you and others claim, demonstrates a lack of diligent study on the part of the accuser(s). I challenge anyone to point out any contradictions in the bible...
JESUS was both man and GOD... he was the perfect sacrificial lamb to pay mankind's debt for sin. Mark 10:45 - Heb 1:6-8
I'd like to ask you a question to think on, does your GOD love you? ~MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND LEAD YOU INTO TRUTH~

1. The bible was written by God through man, so while it may be manmade, God is the author.

2. Jesus is the son of God. This does not make God human. In fact, all humans are children of God. Does this make us Gods? No, it doesn't

Who wrote the Koran. Scribes that listened to Muhammed is what I was taught in my religion class it was taught by a Muslim btw. Just because you think that the Koran cannot be corrupted does not mean it is true. Many Christians believe that the Bible is the word of God. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17 So either way when you look at your Koran or some looks at thier Bible they are looking at words that where written by man but inspired by God according to their beliefs.

good thing for you to remind everyone here that muslims are for peace. in fact the word ISLAM came from the arabic word which stands for peace.

anyway, regarding your two questions, i have to tell you first that not all Christians believe that Christ is God. but he as we all are, are sons of God.

so with your questions

1. with all my respect, i have to redirect my answer with the holy quran. basically, it goes like this. the very reason you know about hazrat mohammad (PBUH)is because of the quran. yeh, sure your mom would have been the one to tell you about him, and probably your grandpa was the one to tell your mom about the last prophet. but hey, all of these came from a single source, and without that source, the world and all the muslims wouldnt have known about Allah and all his prophets.

the same is the case with the bible. without it, the Christian faith would be without basis. we wouldnt have known about Christ and all the apostles and all the prophets before him.

2. now regarding the deity of Christ. i personally dont believe he is God. otherwise, if he was God, then the whole salvation thingy would be a joke. it goes like this.

in the beginning, God created man in His own image. it means that like God, man was sinless and deathless (the same as God)

but man sinned. and as a punishment for this sin, God bestowed Death into this world. man was doomed to die.

NOW, the very exciting part is this.

because it is by one man's sin that death entered into this world.
then it must follow that a sinless MAN's death be able to bring LIFE again into this world.

so there, Christ was a man, and he still is. (1 Timothy 2:5)

....by the way, there are no contradictions in the bible.

I am not wasting time with someone who mocks a faith that one does not understand. Why not read a book written by a Muslim who supports Christianity?

Here check this out... Understanding Islam: The Crescent in the Light of the Cross" by Abdul Saleeb

Please be nice and apologise because tearing down some one else's faith without understanding and respecting them... shows the character of the god that you serve.
