I think it saying,if the woman is engaged and she has sex with another man,,she couldnt have been raped 'cause she didnt call for help. Therefore she'll be stoned for adultery.Doesnt sound fair still though, does it?

The word betrothed, means married or promised to be so. If she does not cry out, then she took relation willfully and out of wedlock so she is an adulterer. Not raped. And he that has relations with one married of engaged is also an adulterer. Both sins that in the old testament was punishable ny death.

My God doesn't say anything of that nature. That was made by man. How else did it get written about in a book? "Oh man, I just drank some really bad tea! I think I'm hallucinating, oh my god, God is speaking though me and he says to stone to death women who are raped!!!" I don't believe that babble for one second. It was a person using the image of God to control people into thinking whatever they wanted them to believe in. Also known as, control by fear. You would be better off reading the Bhagavad Gita, at least it doesn't say bad crap to do to others, only good.

If she was being raped, then she would have cried out. I'm taking it that relations means adultery, not rape. She would have been willing to some point, if she never cried out. And yeah, I agree. If a woman commits adultery , then her and her partner should be stoned. I also believe that if a man commits adultery then he and his partner should be stoned to death. But, maybe i'm just mean.

It is not that she is raped, she is is a hooker... In India and Pakistan it is still the case. If something like you descibed happens, the family of the girl is punished, not the man nor the girl( in a direct way)...So who's god is saying that raped women should be stoned???
What does your god say??

so what's up with this interruption, it sounds real to me, so that's the Christ God talking, or is it his father? Either way there are always mitigating circumstances to every case, What if he ***** tried to call out, but no one heard her? Is she still getting the rocks? what if the ***** wasn't betrothed, but just trashed or lost? What if the man didn't or wouldn't do his neighbor's wife , but he would do the tramp!

No one is saved by the law but by grace. If you spent the time looking for the truth of God instead of trying to accuse God and justify yourself you'd be a lot better off

It referred to adultery. Besides, that was the old law which was abolished with the death of Christ. Now you just have to believe in God and that Jesus died to wash away our sins. But, believe what you want and I'll do the same....I hope you make it.

The Old Testament is full of horrible deeds such as that. The God of the OT is very cruel.
