It teaches about being " Slave to righteousness"...the idea that everyone is enslaved to something - usually sin. But Christ offers us a way out of the bondage of sin into a new live of obedience to Him.
It also talks about grace, the idea that there's nothing we can do to make God love us more or love us less...

Personally I have never learnt anything from the Bible, especially as an adult I am not a believer in ANY God. However, there are plenty of books on the market which analyse the so called good book, you might be interested to read them. Alternatively, as you are asking several questions about what various chapters of the bible teach, why not just read the bible yourself, and interpret it your way. Good luck, I hope you get more out of the book than I ever could.

John 17:1-26; Jesus has here the ones that will help him save the world.
Rom.6:1-23; Most of this is to them and how to be them.
Rom.8:9,16,17;22,23,33; 9:33; 11:26; These scriptures are of them. Rom.16:20[John 14:3]; Jesus will go to prepare a place for them. Rev.12:7-12; When Satan is down, it is done.
John 3:5,6; 1Pet.1:15,16,23; 1Pet.2:6; Heb.12:22-24;Spirits of Just men made perfect]; Rev.3:12[the promise here to them]; The world that Satan is in will end. Eph.3:21; The world that Jesus is in will never end. Rev.20:1-6; These that help him save the world are priest unto him and God.
We can't all be priest, but we have to be either them, the ones they save as sheep, or the goat that is in trouble.
Rev.21:1-5; 2 Pet.3:13; They are saved to the new heavens and save all others saved to the new earth.

Romans 6 is addressed to those born of God. To those who have the spirit of Christ within. It teaches that we are dead to sin through the death of Christ. That we are alive to God through Christs ressurection. It teaches we are free to choose and to walk out of love for the law has been fulfilled and no longer ties us down. It also teaches that if we choose to do that which is wrong then we are going to be enslaved by it. But if we out of a loving heart choose to do right, we shall be blessed. It teaches that we should now change our thinking to the new life Christ has given us, so that we can live as God intends us to live.

at the start it talks about grace. grace from God means that he knows that you will at some point (daily) sin and so he forgives you and wont kill you for it ( unless you arent saved in which you will go to hell). but the writer is saying dont use this as an excuse to keep sinning if you have already asked jesus into your heart.
as for the rest of the chapter...
in short it is in the last line of the chapter, the wages of sin is death. basically before you become a christian you are heading for death because you havent recieved the blood of jesus that gives you eternal life.
you need to let the sin nature in you die and let holiness be your life. a slave cannot serve two masters, you either have to live in holiness or live a life of sin which results in death.

It teaches that we are all God's servant. If you are righteous, you become servant of God in righteousness and vice versa. Since we are now righteous in God, we are simply God 's Servant. Get it! NOT SON.
