God created us in his own image. God is a spirit. He gave us the Holy Spirit which dwells within us. It is not our human bodies which are in his image. Why then could our bodies not have evoulved through the apes?

Some thing is needed to help these people. I mean it! Imagine yourself trying to defend the story of Noah's ark or the talking snake fron Eden.
Really! How utterly silly. It akin to believing that Mickey Mouse is real.

They need some kind of medication

I know this is a very moral questions for believers, and I'm not trying to disrespect their believes. I'm a very open minded person and I like to hear different points of views.

In my opinion, religion brings indifference between men kind, we fight against each other to prove that the god we believe in it's the the god that we should believe to, we don't even know if there is a god, religion makes people numbed and also brainwashes free souls.

If you don't like this question; PLEASE, keep going to the next one. If you want to answer it, do not COPY and PASTE in order to get best answered, and do not write the lame "YES" or "NO".

The term Inquisition (Latin: Inquisitio Haereticae Pravitatis Sanctum Officium) refers broadly to a number of historical movements orchestrated by the Pope and aimed at securing Papal religious and financial authority in Europe through the conversion, and sometimes persecution, of alleged heretics.

In Spain and Portugal, the auto da fes and pre-decided trials of accused heretics, often ended with men and women being burned alive. Spanish missionaries would later import the Inquisition to the New World, convicting and killing Central and South Americans who refused to convert to Catholicism from the early sixteenth century onward.

There were four major movements, starting with the Medieval Inquisition in 1184 and ending with the Spanish Inquisition in 1834.

Why? What sounds funny about a human being dieing coming back from the dead and ascending into heaven, and those who don't believe this get punished and sent to the phantom zone.

i just recently got into history, ahd descovered who i was, and i will change the world when i die. i think i had to return to find out who i was, and i do believe in reincarnations, because where do we go when we die? there are certain degrees of punishment, and that is what hell is. but since the world is in a crisis the world needs to know who the real god is, and i will be the ambassador of the world just as imhotep was. when i die the world will end, because people have miss used the powers of Ra, the sun, and people have forgotten about the sun. it makes alot of sense because what is the biggest soul in the galaxy, the sun. the sun will is the soul of all souls, so i think when we die we will assend to the sun and the sun will judge that persons soul, and then send then back down to earth, and there are different stages inthe life cycle, i think budda teaches there are 6 different cycles you can reincarnate into depending on how much your soul has sinned.

Do you think there's any value in self-denial, ie the concept of surrending your own will or concerns to something else, or do you think that's more one of those Christian ideas that doesn't work?

A 21-year-old former private first class who was discharged from the Army, appeared in a federal magistrate's courtroom in Charlotte Monday.
The charges grew out of a military investigation involving up to five soldiers in the alleged March rape and killing of the female in Mahmoudiya and three of her relatives.

Prosecutors said Green and other soldiers entered the home of a family of Iraqi civilians, where he and others raped a member of the family before Green shot her and three of her relatives to death.
he Washington Post reported Monday that the rape victim was a 15-year-old girl
he found the girl dead in a corner, her hair and a pillow burned and her dress pushed up to her neck.
After they raped her, they killed her and burned her body, what your opinion of such acts and what should be done?

It's not perfect but I think it's a darn good place to live. I don't want to live anywhere else. I think it's great the freedoms we have and the rights we share. How many other Americans out there agree with me?

What if I believe that Clark Kent becomes Superman just because he wants to help people, and not because his father in the past of Kryptonite, sent him specifically on the mission of becoming savior to Earth.

Does my theology suffer a problem here? Should we have a spiritual warfare to determine whose theology is more prevelant in these areans of soul?

My mom is an alcoholic & goes to church at least 3 times a week. everytime i see her though, she tells me this story about what is going to happen when the world ends. I can't remember every word she said, but she keeps telling me that when the world is comming to an end, god or jesus is going to come down to earth in a disguised body & he's going to send all his angels to get their family members & loved ones, to take them to heaven with them or something & my mom says god is going to turn her into a shinny golden color & that i shouldn't be afriad of my mom when she comes to take me & my daughter with her to heaven. it sounds so unbelievable & another story she tells me is that god is going to make a better more safer earth to live in after this earth comes to an end! she claims that these stories are in the holy bible! I have a holy bible, but it's too complicated & long to read! I believe in jesus & god & in good & evil, but im not a church goer!
