A 21-year-old former private first class who was discharged from the Army, appeared in a federal magistrate's courtroom in Charlotte Monday.
The charges grew out of a military investigation involving up to five soldiers in the alleged March rape and killing of the female in Mahmoudiya and three of her relatives.
Prosecutors said Green and other soldiers entered the home of a family of Iraqi civilians, where he and others raped a member of the family before Green shot her and three of her relatives to death.
he Washington Post reported Monday that the rape victim was a 15-year-old girl
he found the girl dead in a corner, her hair and a pillow burned and her dress pushed up to her neck.
After they raped her, they killed her and burned her body, what your opinion of such acts and what should be done?

What we still see in Iraq today and the full US support of the massive Israeli crimes in Lebanon and Gaza are just another evidence of the criminal behavior of the US government and its president. American citizens are doing nothing to stop this which means most of them agree with that as we see frequently by online polls by CNN and others.

I don't think they have human hearts and feelings. They are criminal psychopathic and represent truly the level of the American civilization of destruction. Killing and raping a 15 year old girl and cold blooded murdering of her family is just beyond all imaginations. Previous answerers tell you wait for the investigations, how biased are they when they know that the accused can't be the judge at the same time. Why America demanded immunity for her troops against international laws? Why they refuse a neutral third party investigation in the incidence. I just feel nauseated and disgusted, I can’t go on.

I have Honerable discharges from both the Army and the Navy. While in the Navy I spent most of my time in close contact with combat veteran marines(VietNam)... most all I served with were honerable guys doing a job they might not have liked after they got in.. but they did their duty and all the other things young men, many at least, do when in the service
The acts of a few perverts are not the way the overwhelming number of our service men, and women., are.
But like the scociety they come from... there is always that few who are less than human.
If these ones are in truth guilty of this...HANG THEM

I think wait until we get a verdict. If found not guilty, we will all feel terrible for judging before the evidence was in.
IF we find they did it, then I think the same should be done to them. However, our courts disagree.
We are a CIVILIZED country even though we do have some barbaric citizens. Therefore, justice decides what should happen, not us as individuals. I would think he would get death though for such a horrendous act.

These men have had their trial and been sentenced by the press. They have been found guilty and should be executed as far as the press is concerned. Your last part, would all be happy if the USA was to be involved between Israel and Lebanon. I don't think so. Give the soldiers back and go home.

Are the humans? Of course. And as all other humans, they are capable of much evil. Whether or not they really did the evil they are accused of is still in question, but I'm certain they have done something bad in their lives like all the rest of us.
My opinion of the act? Appalling. Unacceptable.
What should be done? If evidence proves to be true, they should be punished as per the law. And we should all pray for them, their families, and the families of all they have affected.
May the Lord bless you.

We need to get our guys and girls out of there before they take on any more evil habits from those we are fighting. Some of our guys are becoming the same people we are over there fighting.
Satan is having a field day with our military, and there is no excusing it.

We will have to wait and see if they really did those horrendous things or not.
But what about the two U. S. soldiers that we "Know" were taken by al-qaeda and had their heads cut off, their eyes gouged out, and their sexual organs put in their mouth's?
What about the Muslims that are killing each other because they can't agree about who is the successor of the "Child Molester" Muhammed?

Wait until all of the facts have been presented and then decide. I agree with the first post. The press is unreliable.
