Why are people not wanting to become Christians? It's not hard! I just wanted to know what some of your reasons are for not becoming a Christian.

I meant it's not hard to say a prayer and have Christ come into your heart. I'm not going to force anyone to become a Christian. I just want to know some reasons why people don't belive in it.

Are you kidding? it's the hardest thing there is. completely giving your faith and trust and standing blindly on something you love? it's hard. but, that doesn't mean it isn't good or it isn't right. Jesus Christ is the only answer.

I disagree. I've been a Christian for five years. It wasn't hard to ask Jesus into my heart but some aspects of Christianity are difficult. That doesn't mean they are bad though. I love God, I love being a Christian. My life is so wonderful now and it wouldn't be the same otherwise!

Well Im a Catholic but I think the reason why people don't want to be Christian is because most Christian are narrowed minded and are not willing to listen to others believes.

Because giving up pre-marital sex, drugs, lay-in's on a Sunday, homosexuality, alcohol, lying, stealing etc can be hard! The only way for someone to become a Christian is if the Spirit moves them :o)

You're not supposed to become Christian if you don't actually believe all the stuff Christians profess to believe. I think that's the main reason.

I've tried, but the things I hear don't ring true to me. I just can't believe that the bible is anything but mythology. Its like Santa Clause, as a child I really wanted to believe he existed but deep down I always knew he didn't. Christianity is the same way for me, and it seems more and more ridiculous to me the more I investigate it.

actualy most do not want to become Christian because it is so hard for so many... I was one of them... it can be very painful going through the process leading up to Salvation... VERY PAINFUl for many... That frear of pain leads to a fear of God that actualy drives many from Him.

I am a CHRISTIAN, and I am happy to be one. I love the LORD. However, I do not think it is right to force religion into anyone. They are either ready or not and I respect that. "To each it's own."

I'm Wiccan. I do not care to ever become a Christian, though I will never criticize your beliefs. You are free to have yours just as I am free to have mine.

I don't believe in God. I don't think this belief is compatible with Christianity. Should I read CS Lewis and talk to a pastor?
