p.s. there are some complaints about some (non pro religion) postings in "the religion section". The last time I looked, it was the "religion and spirituality section" I didn't know that religions have a monopoly on spirituality. AND, why when a non theist makes a comment is it labeled "an attack on Christianity", while a christian comment about non believers (or other religious followers) is deemed a "saving of the soul" ????. Also, is your cow so sacred, that it is not fair game for critical thinking ??
One of the major problems that I see is that the theists use the government to impose their will. It's in the pledge, on the currency, in the courts, etc,. Some may say that the absence of these would be advancing the "atheist agenda". Not true. Advancing the "atheist agenda" could include an affirmative denial of theism in the pledge, on currency, and in the courts.
But no, I think that all that Atheists want is neutrality and to be left alone; for things to be neutral; neither positive nor negative inference about a deity or supreme being. When I am no longer imposed upon by theists, I would gladly retreat and return to rooting for my lousy baseball team.

Hi,may I ask you a question? Does cold exist? To know how dark a space is, would require determining the amount of light present there. Darkness is simply a term used to describe the absence of LIGHT.
Having said all these,it's evident that from your question you need some light to shed the truth to you about the glorious experience of being a christian. But this truth can only be accepted by the simple yet WISE. Does it make any sense climbing the fence, when you have the DOOR wide open? Does it make any sense groping in darkness when there is an infinite source of LIGHT at your disposal to lighten up your path? Does it make any sense being hilarious about ignorance when there is an embodiment of TRUTH just waiting at the door of your heart for your embrace?
It so simple; Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIGHT. Accept His way, and you will not be LOST; Believe the TRUTH and you will be WISE; Let His LIGHT guide you and you will be ETERNALLY grateful you did. The CHOICE is yours; Your doubting the FACT doesn't make it a FALACY. The TRUTH always STAND. Dont learn this too late, the consequence is too fatal and infinitely expensive!

Why couldn't you defend Noah's ark, have you never heard of a flood? why not try asking a New Englander if they believe that many days of consecutive rain can cover a city in water!!! And how do you know that at the time of creation man wasn't smarter than they are now, and could understand the language of snakes. Just because it wasn't a technological society doesn't mean that people weren't smart, look at the pyramids!! We can have no idea of the knowledge we have lost and traded over the course in time!!! personally I'm not a christian & I belive in evolution, but it pisses me off when you god damn atheists think that your the only people in the world who can possible be right!!

Why attack only Christians? Every religion has stories that might seem "utterly silly." That is where faith comes in. It is alright if you don't agree with Christians, but there is no need to ridicule and belittle the ones that do. Why do you feel the need to purposely be mean? What if someone slapped you for no reason? To some people, your words are like a slap in the face.

Do you really think its superstition or coinscidence that a man who had a revolver stuck to his temple ready to pull the trigger cried out to God in the middle of his pain and a christian who was telling people about Jesus just happend to knock on his door before he pulled the trigger. Or how about a young girl at the age of 20 who was a drug dealer, addicted to acid and ectacy at the age of 16, living a life of sin and was getting ready to join her life with a marine friend of hers just so happend to go to church with him (when he got back from Japan) and heard how Jesus wanted to be a father to the fatherless (she didnt have a father growing up). She answered the altar call and is now living for God. No more drugs or life of sin. Or how about marriages being put back together through Jesus Christ.
