I hear voice in my head: Allah is telling me to go to Taco Bell and stab myself with one of their plastic sporks. This is not the first time. Allah commanded me a week ago to stab myself with a plastic spork and I did- or at least tried. But the splines of the plastic Taco Bell Spork broke as I tried to penetrate the skin near my heart.

Please save me from Allah. Someone ?

Before the 11th Century, the difference btwn refined and common people was the number of fingers they ate with (3 & 5, respectively). Once forks were invented, the Catholic Church opposed them as unnatural (it was an insult to imply the fingers God gave you weren't good enough for food). People were ridiculed as effeminate and pretentious. It was 800 years before they were accepted.

Jim Darwin, I see you're the most upset out of everyone on Yahoo Answers because every other question is something you have posted and against the Christian faith. I have no problem with you disagreeing with the Christian way because you have the choice to believe what you want. I just want to know why you are so upset with CHRISTIANS in particular as opposed to Wiccans, Protestants, Hindus, etc. What did Christians do to you personally?

I"m sick of it...They Gays do it, the Atheist do it, the Muslim-Americans, the African-Americans. Everyday there are 100s of Questions & Answers that totally condemn this Country. Celibacy is often viewed as a weakness in the world of today. Even kids are pressured at an incredibly early age to have sexual experiences. You are not considered to be a true man if you don't have sex, and virgins are viewed as aliens or "goodie-goodies."

It would seem to me that celibacy is a strength, not a weakness. After all, almost anyone can have sex, but it takes something more to resist temptation and not allow oneself to be seduced. What are your thoughts and opinions on this? How do you view celibacy, and how do you think the world views celibacy? Why is celibacy viewed to be so negative?
