Because they are ignorant, bigoted, uneducated and have been brainwashed with the filth that the Vatican has preached for 2000 years. They are also narrow-minded, blinkered and the best free comedy you can find, or depending on how you look at it, totally frustrating morons who simply don't have a clue. It's so sad to realise that there is so much ignorance and stupidity in this world.

I've got to agree with the first person. Are you a Christian who believes that tarot card are evil and should be avoided, destroyed, etc....? OR are you a believer in the power or Tarot who thinks that Christian's don't realize what good they can do OR is there something else that I'm just not getting?
Oh, and by the way, I am a Christian and believe Tarot cards are bad

Let me say this before giving my answer. I am in agreement with the burning of them. But also let me explain why I believe this.
One the Bible says that we should not seek after secret knowledge using mysterious means. Now I had a Ouija board. I thought it was fun. But God says that the only source of true knowledge comes from him. All other ways are false. The knowledge that comes from Tarot Cards, witchboards and so on can be dangerous. They lead to things best left alone as well as bondage. Those that believe the Bible believe this and yes I am one that believes the Bible.
But answering the way they did though essentially correct should have come with an explanation. Anyway I hope this answers your question about why they answered the way they did (I went and read was given on the other question). Looks like you have explanations on this one.

Because they never actually studied the history of it or even looked into the idea of it. They are ignorant, that's why they act ignorant. They go on about "god says don't do witchcraft" yet when you ask what Witchcraft is, they can't answer. The only thing the Bible says is that Witchcraft is Rebellion. Which isn't a definition, not even a good description. The one's who insult and scream "You're going to Hell" are in rebellion against the words "Love your enemies" ... "Bless those who curse you".... that hardly makes them witches. So simply put... most are just ignorant, and lazy... they won't look into anything if someone they agree with tells them "it's of the Devil". They don't ask questions within their own religion, they just ask of other people and practically demand that you have a good answer, meanwhile they only offer "I'll pray for you" when they can't answer.
So don't worry about those Christians who lack knowledge on such things. Most of them only reply like that to get you upset enough to engage in conversation... well, an argument, over the whole deal. Let em steam on their own. Keep studying.

Well you can only get an answer to this question from someone who is a true born again bible believing Christian. Here I am and here is your answer whether or not you agree with it.
Using tarot cards is using a spirit of divination. You are perdicting or trying to perdict future events. This practice is forbidden in the bible.
Deut 18:10-12 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Jer 29:8-9 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.

Why are Tarot card users so ignorant about Christianity?
With all respect due your question, you are the one who is ignorant about the subject. But I will give you the information you need to learn.

because they (tarot cards) are messing with powers that we are not meant to mess with. The church does not deny the existence of tarot cards or that they can give information. They also realize that the information that is being sent is from bad/evil spirits. This goes with all magic/superstition. The church is not ignorant, they are actually very informed.

We are not ignorant. Tarot Cards supposedly tell the future but, THEY DON'T. You don't know your own future. Only God Almighty knows the future. Not a bunch of cards or something. It should stay that way.

I'm a christian, and I know all about tarot cards. That doesn't mean I take any stock in them, but lots of my Friends have them, and use them. I have a friend who's a Carney and a fortune teller for goodness sakes. I think that's generalizing just a little bit.
