Some like to keep their cards in a velvet bag, some wrap in scarves and some buy or make carved wooden boxes to keep their cards in. I keep mine wrapped in a scarf in a wooden box that I made with the help of my husband.

I've always kept mine in a piece of silk within an ornate wooden box, though I have not used them for many years. As with any valuable tool, you must respect them. A farmer would not let his hoe go un-sharpened or leave it out in the rain to rust. You're tarot cards are a tool. Fine linen, precious silk, ornate boxes, usually from a natural source (stone, wood, etc.) seem best in respecting them.

I would think the best thing you could do with your tarot cards would be to burn them, but hey, that's just me.

The best thing to do with tarot cards is TEAR THEM UP, DIG A HOLE AND BURY THEM DEEP!!!!

I wrap mine in a scarf and keep them in a carved wooden box. Do what feels right.

I heard throwing them in a fireplace makes them more accurate.
