Fossils, carbon dating, historical records...you can discount all this evidence and just say "Well, the Bible tells me so, and I have faith, so that must be how it is" You are brainwashed, and frankly you scare me if thats how you think.

I hate science. How do you really know what those "men" found was true? What if they were Nonbelievers who made fake fossils, historical records, and whatever & put them in science books to make us stop believing in God? They just wanted to put us down because of our faith. You are pompous. You should be ashamed. There is a God. There's actual proof: Me & my Family. (My life was not so great because this guy conned us but, God Almighty got us out of the bad situation. We became homeless but, now we have a home because God gave us a home. We are finally meeting Good Christian People. That guy that conned us is now going to court and hopefully jail for con and abuse. That guy is the reason I don't trust anyone on Earth anymore.) Science is a fraud. I trust in Jesus Christ. Not people like You. You wouldn't even be here if it weren't for God Almighty, Our Father. May God Help Your Soul. God Bless.

Not illegal, but definately not taught it public, government funded, schools. This is a religious belief, and while not as wacky as some of the theories of other cults this world has seen (think back to the Heaven's Gate Cult - a San Diego based cult who believed that martians were waiting for them on the far side of the Haley Bopp Comet, and all they had to do was eat poisoned pudding to meet them), it is something that should be taught in private religious schools.

1. No one knows how old the original earth is.
2. The "rebuilt" earth God created maybe around 6000 yrs old. No exact date can be claimed.
3. Even carbon dating is not close to accurate. Scientists tested it on a tortoise they knew to be 150 years old and the CC dated it around 4000 yrs. old.
The Bible does not say how old the earth is. It was without form and void before God restructed the earth built on the original chasis. Science and Bible can agree on this argument.

How old is the Grand Canyon?

It has very steep sides. Does not a river wear away obstacles it comes to? This means that it is quite young. Since the flood.

Carbon dating is not accurate. On a wooley mammoth they got readings ranging from 15,000 to 45,000 years old (same animal).

Do you know how they sometimes date rocks? By the kind of fossils found in it.
Do you know how they sometimes date fossils? By the kind of rock they are found in.
This is circular thinking, and not scientific.

Yes, I believe the Earth is only 5,000 years old. Science is a man made thing. Thus is subject to flaws and mistakes.

I believe that God created upon this earth PRIOR TO Genesis 1:1-31, 2:1-3.

I believe God destroyed all prior creation (Gen.1:2) to bring forth man created in God's likeness (Gen.1:26), with an UNBROKEN lineage beginning with Adam.

I don't believe that. I do believe Jesus was black.

From wikipedia.org "In more recent times the fact that the Middle East was a meeting point of cultures and races has led to suggestions that Jesus may have been black... (The) Near East was a cultural crossroad, and the only land route out of Africa..."

There is my research. Have you done yours? Dude all of this hate is gonna tear you apart. I worry for you.

No, most Christians do not beleive the earth is only 5,000 years old.
Earth time compared to Heaven time is toataly differant. When it says God created the earth in seven days, it is seven days His time, not earth time. So we do know the earth is millions of years old.
And how is thinkin gthe earth is only 5,000 years old scary?Whats scary is people who like to put down others for their beleifs.

Science is completely man-made. Sure the Bible was written down by men, but it was told to them straight from God! It wasn't made-up by men!
