I don't agree with everything in the Christian religion , like how at weddings they say the wife has to honor and obey and all that stuff . I beleive in equality. Also , I come from Mississippi and a lot of people who call themselves Christians discriminate against African Ameriacans . I am totally for equality , and it really hurts me when someone who is otherwise a nice person says discriminate things .Is there a religion for me ? Please help .

One of my friends is an evolutionist and an agnostic. I really want to help him get saved. I told him how creation is proof of God's existence.

He asked me to explain how come they always find fossils lower in the strata that are so different from todays organisims, but they become more and more like the organisims of todays time the higher you go in the strata.

I told him about the flood of Noah and that it may have burried things that way. He asked me to explain how come there are different kinds of plants and trees that follow the same pattern.

Please help me; he's a long-time friend and a really great guy.

Some Christians believe that God buried fossils in the Earth at the time of creation to test our faith? Does this make you want to laugh or cry?

in the bible he says he will heal any sick that pray to him (James 5:15) and will grant any prayers you request so why will jesus heal people who had a chance to get better on their own (all the people who claim to be healed by prayer and miracles), but ignore those whos only chance is through jesus (like amputees and other prayers that are unambiguous and can only come true by prayer)?

jesus is very clear in getting the point across that there are no limits to what you can pray for and what he can give you,
you ever see an amputee regrow a limb by praying to jesus?

miraculous cancer dissapearance and things like this are ambiguous because many other things couldve caused the recession (immune system, doctors theraphy, force of will , etc.)

Genesis 1:24 states: "Then God said, 'Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to it's kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to it's kind', and it was so". Do you know why everything reproduces after it's kind? Do you know why after more than 120 years after Darwin, no missing links have ever been found? Other than it's written in scripture; which is God's Word; the basic building blocks of life, DNA, is written in a digital code.

There's two ways which information can be stored. Analogue or digital. An example of analogue would be a themometer. You watch the mercury rise, and you know it's getting warmer. Another example would be the hands on a clock. As you watch the hands move, you get a feeling of time passing. Digital can be represented by a clock with numbers. If you see the numbers 2 colon 4 & 5, you know it's quarter to three. We know that because we all agreed 4 is more than 2. Digital requires design.

Exodus 31:16-17 16Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

17It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know?Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

I feel so special...like a goddess. Why shouldnt I feel like this? I feel like a porcelain doll in a diamond cut case. I feel like God made me very special and there is like an underground river of immeasurable pure and golden laughter in my inner being. I feel so good this way. Like I was made as a special child. Not better than others. Just special as me.

Have you ever awoke, and saw through the disguise of organized religion, yet felt like on the inside you did need an inner renewal of some sort, true inner spiritual renewal, that doesn't try to put God in a church, mosque, or synagogue, or in a book., It's easy to put God in a book, for then we feel like we have a certain amount of control over what he's like, when we should be applying anything about the spiritual and "God' to the inside of us, through a new beginning of our souls, it seems to me, a new paradigm of individual spirituality.

I had a incling that Jesus knew of Buddha, that he had traveled to india and learned about him. Because he had alot of teachings that Buddha had, that were outside of the norm for a 13-30 year old Jewish male of his time, but not outside the norm for a indian male, or someone who been to india. So in thinking this I would often point out alot of things, but today I came across this site and it had alot of thing that are very intesesting one of which speaks on the fact that Jesus or St. Issa had spent seventeen years in India and Tibet. From age thirteen to age twenty-nine, he was both a student and teacher of Buddhist and Hindu holy men. The story of his journey from Jerusalem to Benares was recorded by Brahman historians, and today they still know him and love him as St. Issa. Their 'buddha'
