Do I believe what you just said? Yes and no. Some religions have been invented to reassure themselves that they won't have to answer to a Holy God. For example: secular humanism. It's a religion. However Christianity is the truth about how God created us and provided a plan to be reconciled back to us.

No, I don't believe that at all. I think men have twisted religion away from what God intended though.
Too much corruption and too much greed in any organization, which is why I steer clear of organized church.

I'm so glad fellow believers are speaking out. Sadly it is true that man has drifted away from God, even though we have many great "Christian" churches.
Yes I do believe that Jesus came to save man from his sin and He is the only way that we can be reconciled with God.

nothing is more reassuring to me than a God who sends all people to hell if they don't believe in him.
i don't think religion is very assuring for most folks. try again.

I think relition started because people had questions they didn't know how to answer. Comforting themselves came later, because when people could choose between one explanation or antohter, they chose the one they found the most comforting.

If so, Id like to find 60+ men who agree on all the sex restrictions and laws against wealth and power... would be REALLY hard to find.

i beleive in god and you should too. end of story. if you don't you're going to a place where are the people who don't beleive in god go but you could change that if you decide to believe in god instead of all that science bull crap. peace! beleive in jesus not in religion.
