I would just like to see the comments people have on this statement.

Hehe... they added the question mark at the end of my statement.

Actually, I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ who died for me. I just want to see what opinions people have about the Truth.

*ehem* then I'll ask a question... what do you think about that statement?

2006-06-29 15:40:17 · update #2

That is the point of faith. God is above reason and logic, because he created them, and it takes faith to believe that He is real without tangible proof.

2006-06-29 15:41:57 · update #3

That's exactly it. You won't know with complete certainty until you actually take that leap of faith.

Hey, jtucker... uh... whatever lol, can you look at my additional details for an answer? I don't really care about getting any points or anything.

The reason the world is getting worse is because of a lack of God. The universe is waning away and will soon die out (whether it be tommorow or a million years from now). The more people refuse to follow God, the more humans will sway from His law and mess their lives up. Only Jesus Christ can change that.

I don't agree with people throwing hate speech or statements like "rot in hell" at non-Christians, because we should show love to everyone, no matter what their beliefs are or what they have done to us.

2006-06-29 15:53:06 · update #7

I also think that scaring people into Christianity by using statements like "rot in hell" is wrong because people shouldn't live for Christ because of a fear of hell [we should only fear God in a respectful way]. They should, however, live for Christ because of His awesome splendor.
Can I get an amen? The Lord is awesome!

it is natural to believe in god we are brought up to believe in god we also do not like to think that when we die that that is everything we are done. If you use science as you guide there is no evidence to support this theory of god no one really know because no one has come back to tell us if god is not real he can't be everything One more thing when you read the bible god talks to mankind a lot but since Jesus he has not drooped by to say hi don't you think if he was real he would still talk to us or maybe he is just made up away to control the masses if someone could prove god was not real it would destroy our world the idea of god keeps people in line its the what if he is real and another theory is he got bored with this project and started a new one or maybe he is not for ever and died he really was Jesus and we killed him and this is why he does not come by to see us anymore. some of the anwsers you will get will show why religon is dangerous with stuff like non believers should rot in hell you will rot in hell for that i hop

You can expect a mixed bag. Some will deny God exists; others will question that He is All. You'll get the usual assortment of vacuity, too.

To say that God doesn't exist is, of course, a universal negative. To claim that you know that with 100% certainty, you have to know the state of all of the predicate of the statement--here, all reality, potentially through all time past, present and future--and know that there is absolutely nothing that corresponds to the concept "God" anywhere. That claim, therefore, requires the claimant to be omnicient--and thus, to be a god, by most folks' definition...

God is LOVE. It is beyond conditional words here.... words create religions.

Breathing causes spiritual amnesia.

Your body is WHAT you are IN, not WHO you are.

God is HOW you are able to BE you.

God is HOW you are able to recognize your reflection, when actually you cannot see it.

God is HOW you recognize yourself in photos, even when you forget everyone else that you CAN see for yourself.

God is everything AND nothing at all.

Welcome to this temporary conditional reality, where you forget yourself, so you can pretend whatever you choose all over again.

Where's the proof? Why haven't all the killing stopped yet? Why do the priests get away with pedophile charges...? My friend God isn't there, like Al Pacino said in the Devils Advocate, "God is Sadist, He Sits on his throne all day and watches people do stupid stuff...and he's laughing his sick ******* head off!!"

I wouldn't make assumptions about something whose existence is still to be confirmed.
