I had a incling that Jesus knew of Buddha, that he had traveled to india and learned about him. Because he had alot of teachings that Buddha had, that were outside of the norm for a 13-30 year old Jewish male of his time, but not outside the norm for a indian male, or someone who been to india. So in thinking this I would often point out alot of things, but today I came across this site and it had alot of thing that are very intesesting one of which speaks on the fact that Jesus or St. Issa had spent seventeen years in India and Tibet. From age thirteen to age twenty-nine, he was both a student and teacher of Buddhist and Hindu holy men. The story of his journey from Jerusalem to Benares was recorded by Brahman historians, and today they still know him and love him as St. Issa. Their 'buddha'

Im not believein soley in the text i read across the screen, again I first thought this, and if you believe in god, youwould know you are guided by faith, and what I sont trust within those text I dont consider, so maybe i needed to read that. Also Jesus in islam is Issa, and im not saying one is over the other, but if jesus could travel to eygpt, he could travel to india all the same. I think ppl forget its all right next to each other, and if you believe he was the son of god then you have to say he couldve came to america, and learn from the aztecs

While it's possible that if Jesus actually existed, he might have been familiar with Buddhism, it's also possible that those who wrote the Gospels were influenced by it.

Buddhism was not unknown in Hellenistic Greece, but much of what you are attributing to Buddhism could also have been Egyptian in origin. That seems more likely, and explains the trip to Egypt in Matthew. Egyptain mysticism strongly influenced early Christianity, and contained many of the golden rule type teachings attributed to Jesus.

honey I'm sorry, but you can't believe everything you read on the internet.
I mean come on. People tell me, "don't blindly accept the Bible" why would you blindly accept something on a website?
the notion that Jesus was Buddhist has been around for a long time-I even heard a woman speaking about it on TBN. but let's not get into the argument over how authentic the Bible is. I say it is, you say it isn't, and we never move past that.
but just because Buddhism is older than Christianity, that doesn't necessarily mean it's superior. I mean by that logic, Judaism is older than them all, so it should be the truth, right?
