Okay, I don't know how many questions like this you've seen, but here is the deal. I am very passionate about the world and furthering God's Kingdom. And on my heart right now is the situation in Uganda. Children ages 2-16 commute everynight to sleep in mass so that they will not be abducted in the middle of the night. Parents are loosing their children, and no help has come. The whole western hemi-sphere seems indifferent to their suffering. There are movements to get the word out, but nothing. So seriously what does it take for people to care. What would I have to say to make this more personal and move ppl into action?

We see people with our heart, not with our eyes.
we believe in Beauty of the soul, No beauty of the flesh
we believe in Individuality, not in prejudice
our souls do not need saving, for they are not in peril
just because we dont try to be like saint
doesnt mean we'll burn in hell..

do you think "Jesus" would walk up to a human..and say if you don't do exactly as i told you.YOU'LL BURN IN HELL do you think he's such a cold harted nasty person..is that legacy he told you to follow...if not dont point at me..look around in your churches..

be so angry and find fault in others. If you are so content in your beliefs why even question us. You all say you're happy, right?

Okay, many religions are represented here so I can see where some people who do not believe in God would be here, like those that believe in Mohammed(?) or something. My question however is for those that are evolutionists. If you do not believe in God or any other possible being that created the world, what brings you to the religion and spirituatility section of this site? It wouldn't be the mere possibility of something actually being true would it?

Notice I'm NOT saying there is no God...

My question is IF we had a way of knowing there was no God, what would you feel in your heart? Would you want to find out?

i am a catholic and proud to be one because i find the catholic church to be very humane and modern. i once met an athiest who grilled me about my faith , and when i refused to parrot the same things that a fundamentalist would say , this man became very agressive and attacked me for not been properly religious.
This has given me something to think about , because now i find no diference between a religious fanatic and an athiest. both these groups to me sound fanatics, am i right?

How can someone hold to an opinion if their not sure that it's the truth? The way to see if your "opinions" are factual is to consider who desides whether or not it's factual and/or true. Who decides?

be in a state of constant prayer, and share God's word with those around them, how can those who tell Christians to save prayer for home and church still claim that they support the right to free practice of religion?

Christians by the very nature of their religion can not check that religion at the door wether at school, work, or in a government office.
