Good point. I guess God is judging everyone in this nation as a whole. (We are soooo screwed)

It is written in GODs word, the bible, that there will be wars and rumors of wars.
With this in mind, we are doing exactly what is written, and will do so until the end times come.
Freedom has never been free, even from the very beginning, so yes, we should continue to make sure we are armed enough to protect ourselves. IT is the only way to insure our safety to the extent that we can.
Should we look for peaceful solutions first, of course, we are not wild creatures. Yet, when push comes to shove, as it did with the 2001 attacks, we will have to defend ourselves, peace had been broken at that moment, the time for talk was gone.

I think the better question is, "would 'God' actually give a damn?" If he has not done something before now, what makes anyone think he actually cares what happens to or in this country, much less anywhere else on this little planet? We're nothing more than a dot on the cosmic map...for all we know, we're completely insignificant. That is, if the whole "God" thing even exists at all...and I have some serious doubts on that score.

God helped nations to win wars, to stop evil activities, to protect themselves and their freedoms. yeah peace is a wonderful idea, but basically unattainable until people get really serious about evangelizing and we have an entirely Christian world. Which would only take 19 years if we all did. But no, one way or the other we will not be destroyed because we've gone to war to protect ourselves, the world, and our freedom.

That is for God to decide... He is interested in you personally... what will you do to assist in the problems today in this world?
If I recall correctly we are feeding many third world countries as well. Sometimes we have to drop bombs on them... that is the nature of war,,, it was some of those countries that teach hate and endorse terrorists to drive airplanes into buildings full of innocent people. What say you about that? Should the US not have the right to defend itself?

They don't stockpile weapons now, Beanhead, they make them in a lab. It's called bio-warfare. Other countries are doing this too, dingbat. How about the whole world's governments? Everyone is warlike, watch the news. You're warlike, or you wouldn't post such a controversial question.

Sometimes war is necessary and the right thing to do. American has to be able to defend itself and other vulnerable nations. Should we just sit back and allow evil to run rampant with terrorism against ourselves and weaker nations? I thank God for a Christian president who prays before making important decisions.

There are several passages in the Bible that speak to that. Considering the oppressed Iraq nation, rape rooms and the mass graves I'm sure God would look upon this war kindly.

Well I'm not sure what the Christian god would think, although a lot of wars have been fought over he/she/it. On the other hand Ares would be quite proud of America. ( or at least of those Americans in power )

I think 7 million dead Jews wondered what took us so long. Sometimes war is the only answer. We must prepare for war to have peace.

I don't know what God would think... but I can tell you what Ben Franklin thought...
Those who are willing to give up liberties for securities should have neither.
By living in fear of attack we have succumbed to the will of the attacker. If there is a God, I'm pretty sure he'd be pissed.
