No. Only the blood of Jesus. Anoint your door post with anointing oil and plead the blood of Jesus over yourself and family. Leave a window open for any demons to go out. Pray in the Holy Ghost. That will scare away the devils. The best way to get rid of them is really to just submit unto God, resist Satan & Satan will flee.

Well, yes salt does ward off ghosts and demons, but it dosnt need to be in a circle. As long as its in an entrence way or something like that it usually helps.
But it dosn't usually work on powerful spirits and demons.
You’d need more advanced methods like different symbols; certain names don't come to mind at the moment. Also, different spells [usually in Latin] help a lot too.

no ghosts still get in. I know cause theyres ghosts in the ocean and they still get in ships that surrounded by saltall the time!
All the salt will do is kill your plants.
don;t worry most ghosts don;t want any thing from you let alone want to harm you. they're ussally just hangin around cause they are lost and don;t know where to go. And even the ones who want to harm you ussally can't. :-)
of course on the off chance that you are dealing with a bonified ghost, who can and desires to hurt you. you will have to contact another equal or greater spirit to help you out. in the mean time they thrive on fear so don;t feed the power. good luck with your ghost problem.

You have to be careful about this because I've heard that too much salt causes high blood pressure. You don't want to cause any visitors to have that. Also the snails around your house will really suffer.

the only thing i can think of, or the first thing that comes to mind is this:if you pray in God's name for Satan to leave he will. Satan hates you and wants you to believe such stupid things. If you have a problem, ask for God to help you.
