The argument is irrelevant. For a true seeker of truth and enlightenment, where you are physically in the world does not (or at least, should not) matter. If you are determined to find the answers, then they will come...regardless of physical location or environment. Why should physical location be an issue to the determined mind?

There are lots of countries that have religion banned, like China, or Muslims (intolerant). I've been to China and you can actually go to church there, but it's still not free. However, Sweden and scandindavian countries are bad only because religion is non-existant. Even Europe (England, France, Germany) have almost zero church attendance. Affluence sometimes breeds indifference. Remember the passage in the Bible about "vomiting you out as a dog vomits" for people with indifference? In America, at least you have freedom of religion, but I'm so sick of fundamentalists and protestants that I think they miss the point on enlightenment and true spirituality.

America has the worlds largest array of various religious practices in the world - a prostitute of religions as it were.
CHINA controls what little religion that is allowed and must be monitored by state officials. Once thrown in prison you are treated worse than a dog and could easily die there.
Middle Eastern Muslim Countries are not tolerant of other religions and have laws that demand the deaths of any Muslim who converts to Christianity or any other religion.
You really need to pay attention to the world mate. America has been a haven for all kinds of religions even Islam is protected above others. America is however quickly becoming one sided with Islam and soon enough, Muslims will be running the White House and changing all our rights to Shiite law.

Enlightenment - - Disagree - China - Yes. ...but... USA - no...you can be anything you wanna be here - the more bizarre the better. It could possibly be our downfall because you can also be a lazy, foul-mouthed, jobless, slacker AND get on television.
