Some biblical thoughts, while looking in the mirror:

Saying left is right is as if saying law is grace,
as saying lie is truth, as if saying death is life.

Who's really right, you or dark end image created?
How else to resolve it than "from such turn away".
The image vanishes when likeness turns away.

Merlin Movie: they all turned away in the end,
stopped acknowledging (giving place) to evil,
and the evil mame they were fighting vanished.

When we turn away from law, sin & death vanish.
When we are totally grace us, law is "behind" us.
Get "behind" me Satan, is what JC said to Peter.
Perhaps to allegorically call the law of Peter dung.
And dung is something we flush, rather than eat.

Your comments?

I'm not talking about theory...like I see God in every flower, yada yada. I'm talking about an actual physical manifestation of God.

I think that most people wouldn't... That's why I find it really hard to believe. Am I just being selfish? I know most of you won't admit it even if this is the only reason that you believe in God.

When you go to sleep, you are completely unconcious. When you die, your brain shuts down, so why would you feel any different than you do when you sleep? Isn't death just sleep with no dreams? I really hope this isn't true... It's making me really depressed and anxious all the time.

I meen really not Methuselah.

People say Methuselah was the longest-lived man, with a specified age, in Biblical history. He lived 969 years and was the great-great-great-great-great-grandson of Adam.

As the ancient Hebrews used a lunar calendar, a lifespan of 969 months would equate to a more reasonable sounding 84 years.

Yes so if he only lived to be 84 was he really the oldest?

God wasn't alive he was never born.

So who really was the longest living person in the bible? For real.

Many people out there think that marijuana is more harmful than alcohol, and that it is sinful to indulge on it. Do you consider it a sin, even though it is illegal to have in the United States?

She takes too long saying grace at dinner and expects us to wait for her while our food gets cold. How can I get her to just bless it and end it? We are too hungry and busy for all that. I mean- we can't personally help all the people she prays for and it's not like Ramen noodles are going to "nourish our bodies and minds" or "give us strength". Is there a much shorter version I could teach her??

More than 35 years ago, I left the Catholic church because of the incongruities. For example, sex is considered evil unless you are married and some priests even go as far as saying it is only to be used for procreation purposes. So why all the raging hormones? Why do people want to have sex so much, even while alone? If you think that it "evil" do you not realize that most Christian religions believe God is the one who created Sex and all these desires? Isn't that ironic.
So if you are still in church you don't really beleive in why do you continue? Why not be true to yourself. Why not explore your life and find what you need to be happy? Won't you be able to make a better contribution? Maybe our earth wouldn't be in such trouble if more people did this. What do you think?

you know who 'they' are, and they're not just 'them' either. history is rife with examples. anyone who kills another in the name of 'god'... what does god really think of that behavior? would god feel left out if no one fought in his name anymore, or would he take delight in that?

Surely God is watching over us, God knows what is in Our Minds...

What is the Problem with you people? Do you want Yahoo! to be closed down by the Power of God?

Isn't that the correct way to give communion? I would enjoy a little glass of wine with the service. All throughout the Bible it talks about wine and Jesus was always drinking wine with his disciples and friends. So why won't our pastor serve wine? Is he afraid that he'll turn us into a bunch of raging alcoholics? Doesn't he trust us? Or maybe he doesn't trust himself with wine in the church? What do you think the problem is?
